This one has me a bit stumped.
For background I've moved over to an Xbox Series|X and brought my HDD with it and all my games are on that, and they have been updating.

After enjoying the Bakerloo add-in and knowing I had previously bought Rapid Transit I went to test that out but didn't see it in my listed routes, but it was listed in my old TSW 2020 installation and showed as installed on my "manage this game" section for TSW2, so I did the standard for issues like this and unchecked and uninstalled the Rapid Transit add-in, rebooted the XBX and then went in to manage the game, checked the box for Rapid Transit, installed, rebooted, and now I see Rapid Transit in the list of routes, but when I select it, instead of opening Rapid Transit it opens with "resume game" and when I open that I get dropped into the Bakerloo add-in.

Any ideas? or should I just uninstall everything and then reinstall?

Have you got auto load journeys turned on in the settings? Try turning that off. You could also try keeping all TSW2020 content on the external, unplug it, restart Xbox (installed games gets checked) and then see if TSW2 (installed to internal) works correctly. Game is known to conflict on Xbox.

I'll dig for the autoload journeys options since I haven't seen it yet.
I removed TSW2020 completely and then moved TSW2 to the internal drive and I get the same situation, there's a "restart game" section once you're in the scenario but I don't want to reset that in the Bakerloo section since that's where I have made the most progress, I'd happily wipe the Rapid Transit progress since I never really started it, but I can't see a way to do just that scenario since I can't get in it.

I found "autostart journeys" and turned it off, no difference.

so "continue journey" doesn't show, but I was able to get into Rapid Transit by going in via Explore and choosing the scenario I wanted to do, where it then crashed the first time but not noticing the doors were closed, then the second time I got about 50' in and it crashed out 100% to the Xbox Home screen, I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but Rapid Transit is certainly buggy as all get out.

By the way, there is no Journey option in Rapid Transit as that was an old route. I haven't had any crashes in it (and I'm using the "last-gen" Xbox One X so that's a surprise it crashes for you) but there are numerous bugs in it yet to be fixed. Some were fixed like the pantograph bug at Dessau Hbf.

Also restarting should not affect any progress other than whatever service you are currently in. Stats get automatically saved when you quit to the main menu or finish a service. If you made a manual save, that will only be replaced if you use the save game option again (for resuming a service that you haven't finished)...and you only have one of these saves across all routes (that's possibly why Bakerloo keeps getting opened when you select resume).

    TYVM for helping on this.
The "only one save across routes" was a situation I never would have guessed at, so that explains that, is there a way to delete that save?
Not needing to worry about restart the app losing my progress is also a huge plus.
I did finally manage to finish one of the RT scenarios without any crashing by the game or me :)

There doesn't seem to be any way of deleting saves, but since there's only one saved slot available, you can always override the original save by saving something else.

Once you make a manual save it can't be removed other than replacing it with a new manual save I believe on Xbox. I got it wiped once when saving in a custom scenario. Don't know if that glitch still occurs.

Would be better to give us 5 slots (which state the route, save date, scenario/service name) or one slot per route. These saves can add dozens of megabytes to the overall filesize, though. Then again my Forza save is over 300 MB with all the liveries, photos, custom routes etc.

Something to keep note of is when you save a game, no matter what route you choose and you click resume game, it will resume that save. For example, Let's say I save a game on CSX Sand Patch Grade and then I click on Bakerloo in the menu. If I click resume game, it will take you to the sand patch grade save. There are not saves for each individual route.

Yeah, once that was brought to light it made more sense, never did I imagine they would have implemented it that way.
