They have 1 number trains too. At least with Amtrak, I actually have seen number 1 before in Florida on vacation.
You did a nice job! how long did it take? took me more than 1 1/2 hours for one, and that was just minor details (handrails, vents, logos, ect). First time I ever tried painting the vents and handrails, it was hard but worth it.
and finished this one: For some reason the game spawns this one in a lot more than any other livery I have, even the CSX ones (Literally every trailing AC4400CW had this livery on it)
boy that looks fun. always good to know what happens when you throw 100 tons of steel at another 100 tons of steel. also what loco is that?
Single digit engines aren't common because each railroad can only have a maximum of 9 units. Each railroad can only have a maximum of 90 double-digit locos, and 900 triple-digit locos. You see 4-digit locos most often because there are 9,000 4-digit numbers to put on locos.
Its an SD45T-2, but they mounted a different cab to the locomotive. You can tell by the triple fan access doors on the rear of the loco, there's no such thing as an SD70T-2. Only the SD40T-2, SD45T-2 have those designations as Tunnel Motors, the GP15T isn't one, its just turbocharged.
I decided to make the Appalachian Lines paint schemes on the AC4400CW and respective coal cars. These schemes are based on Allen McClelland, Tony Koester, and Steve King's freelanced model railroads. Allen McClelland's Virginian & Ohio Tony Koester's Allegany Midland Steve King's Virginia Midland
These are awesome! I was planning on doing a V&O SD40-2. Probably once the CRR route is released though. Because then I can do a V&O F7 too.
Looks Scary with the sudden change in color I agree, I hate it when TSW2 and FS19 (Which is the other game that I play a lot) get tons of mods while we get nothing or something respectively.
By any chance could someone tell me how to the S-Bahn Logo- I want to make 423 units for the Rhein-Ruhr S-Bahn. Also, does UP operate the C40-8W or the ACC400CW
Isn't the s-bahn logo just a green circle with a white s in it? I think that's all you need for it. Yes UP has both!
Here it is (I messed up a lot but it still looks good 02C94A15-D2DD-4AE8-BF4E-D806368C44E6 by thechickencow1 posted Dec 15, 2020 at 7:26 PM 24FFF4AF-7437-42F1-8834-0ACF6B900178 by thechickencow1 posted Dec 15, 2020 at 7:26 PM
pretty plain Jane but wanted a Seaboard System for my fleet, only challenge was getting the font as close as I could.
In the editing section the number won't change while in that view. If you run that in a scenario the numbers won't match up.
A good amount of UPs Ac4400s are still running to date, here's a pair I saw in my hometown earlier this year. UP did own C40-8Ws, since been upgraded to C41-8W, however, I believe them and their Dash 9's are mothballed for what ever reason. Also a few have been retired in 2018 and 2019.
For the road numbers I just use the factory numbers in the game, copy the 4 digit set then slide one set a little to thicken it up. I was talking about the seaboard system font, I had to use shapes to mimic it
Ok right I will see into it and also is there an easy way to upload from xbox1- I can't seem to get to my shots in the xbox live profile
A heritage unit modeled after UP 1989 (which is not an AC4400, but gotta work with what we have) with a few changes mainly due to layer limits.
