Normally midnight in your Microsoft Store region. So Australia and New Zealand will be some of the first players if it is continuing that trend.
It looks like there is a 10% launch discount. I did not know about this. Had a sneaky look on the New Zealand store page.
The route is now available in the Microsoft Store. You can find it here. There is indeed a 10% discount on it for 15 days. There are no achievements for this route, though, which is a disappointment. (At the moment at least.)
Probably just a glitch in the system, but also means that there is no point playing the DLC we just paid the best part of £25 for. We know it has achievements, as Matt unlocked one on last night's stream, but of course, it wouldn't be a Dovetail release without something going wrong.
There's probably a title update missing. It should be released today, I hope it will be as I'm not keen on playing until the achievements are live either.
Any ETA on this? Empire of Sin had the same issue at launch (zero achievements!), and it was fixed within the hour.
My achievements are now active and did “pop” for the ones already attained. This only happened after doing the following. Press the Xbox button on controller. LB to the game activity “controller icon”. Scroll down to All Achievements and press A. This now displays all games/achievements, select TSW2 and press A and presto my achievements popped and total available points increased. TGV achievements/score and descriptions are now showing too. Hope this helps.
Hey BBIAJ no eta as of yet, but I will keep you up to date when I have more information, we believe we know what caused the problem so it should hopefully be resolved soon.
I think it’s a little extreme to say there is no point playing it with no achievements. I understand if you enjoy collecting them and I’m sure they’ll have it fixed soon. I’m not sure I’ve ever tried to get an achievement on anything and wouldn’t know where to see them if I wanted too. I play for fun.
It's more that with TSW2020 specifically, if you had already met an achievement requirement, it wouldn't unlock retroactively once they were made available, so I'd rather not risk it. Would you start a brand new game knowing that none of the achievements were currently live, and that you may have to start over to unlock any exclusive to the early game, such as tutorials etc? Fortunately, that was not the case with TSW2, and the LGV tutorial achievement unlocked just fine once they were activated. It's more the principle, you pay for something, you expect it to be there and work, but with Dovetail, you're better off expecting the unexpected, or in this case, the expected, i.e. the broken. Thanks for the update! As noted above, the tutorial achievement did just pop, so it's all good!
