I enjoy this game and I play both the Xbox 1 and Windows 10 versions of TSW 2020 but every DLC that I've tried on the Windows 10 version (MSB, NTP, LIRR and NEC) has broken achievements. Are there any plans to fix these or is there pretty much no hope? I recently bought the NEC DLC and regret the purchase and definitely won't be spending any more if there are no plans to address the issues. I know Dovetail has been diligent in addressing issues in both the Xbox and Steam versions of the game but the Windows 10 version seems to be a red-headed stepchild to them. Thanks.
There are 11 unobtainable achievements (0% unlocked on Xbox Live) according to TrueAchievements. It feels like this version of the game was rushed out because of PC Game Pass.
The flagging on true achievements isn't complete so there are lot more than 11. If you're still playing TSW2020 these will not be fixed as they no longer offer fixes for this, they only apply fixes to TSW2.
Yeah it probably won't get updated. If TSW2 ever goes on the Microsoft Store/PC Game Pass just link the achievements list to the Xbox version (Cities Skylines does this even though the games are not crossplay). That way if there is a bug on PC you could always switch over to Xbox and do it there. One list rather than two lists this way...or don't bother adding achievements (not mandatory like Xbox).
So when can we expect TSW2 for Windows 10 then? And will our preserved collection DLC purchases be carried over as with the xbox version?
If it does, then I expect your purchased TSW2020 DLC would go over but only from the PC Microsoft Store version, not Xbox. May not ever happen.
