Don't know if anyone else noticed the stuttering every 15 secs or so? What I found really surprising that Sam who was driving it boasted he had the RTX 3090! If the DLC stutters with that card what hope have the rest of got? lol.
Strange .. running on Nvidia RTX2070 and don’t have stutters as many describe. Haven’t run the route a lot, but was fine on the two runs I did make on it.
RTX2080 paired with an old i7 4790, all settings in game maxed, 1440p, no stutter (after I removed some custom engine.ini settings).
I’ve done about half a dozen runs and it’s working like the others for me, on the Xbox One S. Haven’t noticed any bad performance, but my standard performance is from about 25-40 FPS.
Again .. no problem on my rig.. what resolution are you running and what CPU and GPU are you running.
1920x1080, RTX2070S, I7 10700K. People saying TSW doesn't stutter simply doesn't notice it or are lying because every single stream by the developers and every single video on youtube has stutters.
I’ve had no stutters on PS4 Pro. Maybe it was the stream itself that was the problem. The LGV route is one of the smoothest in the game - considering the speed.
He did say in Thursday’s stream that although his system is running a lot faster, the stream itself runs at 30FPS. Presumably this is what is causing the stuttering.
I would be careful about calling people liars, many will not take too kindly to such insinuations. If people do not notice it, then it isn’t a problem for them. Finally, you think recording applications might have a part in it for the videos you are viewing.
It could have been the streaming software. My friend was streaming TSW2 the other day, and the stream would jump and stutter, but he was having no issues playing the game.
Love to know what settings you used. I tried some which seemed to work at the time but sometimes don't. Maybe, All I'm going by is what other people have said and experienced. I seem to notice it in all DTG video's. It is also possible some people may not notice the stutter at all. I notice it much when looking forward sat in the cab's chair. I don't notice it as much when outside the train.
I think it was the streaming software. I get stutter while playing the game, but very little. It hardly distracts me anymore. I‘m playing on an I7 10th gen, RTX 2080 Super, 32gb @1440p. All settings maxed. So good spec but nowhere near Sam‘s spec. Guessing Sam was streaming 4K though.
It is likely that is was the stream that was stuttering and not the gameplay, as Sam described having no performance issues. I have had situations myself where the game will run smoothly on my end but will appear to stutter while live.
