The Baby Bullet was listed as having the HUD Interlock fixed a few roadmaps ago, however this still isn't the case and the Interlock is red when you can apply power, and white when you can't...

In addition, TSW 2020 and TSW 2 are still not compatible on Xbox, and will remove DLC licenses for one another.

DTG Natster - Please can both be re-added to the Roadmap, as they're definitely not fixed.

Can also confirm this on Xbox. Perhaps worth creating a new thread though.

It’s a common issue on many trains from preserved collection

The Cockpit textures are still bugged as hell on Baby Bullet Loco

They unfortunately didn't port some Preserved Collection trains into tsw2 properly

"They" did exactly what they said they would. Get them into TSW2 however that works and then fix the problems.

And that's made the company look bad for just releasing something that has many issues. They already have a bad reputation for releasing products in a unfinished state

To some, yep. To others, given they were told the DLC weren't getting ported at all they might be grateful when and if the fixes happen

Isn’t there supposed to be a update for the Lirr on destination boards and platforms?

Adding boards for LIRR and ECW yeah but it’s in the roadmap and there’s no release date maybe we’ll have an update tomorrow on the new roadmap

The lirr will indeed get pis displays for the Ronkonkoma and Hempstead and the stupid shuttle service of the Port Washington Branch. The audio issues on the m3 and m7 however probably won't be fixed when the pis comes out. I hope they get the pis accurate for the lirr though

It's not hard to get the LIRR PIS correct. It will be sad if it's not accurate. Hopefully, they decide to go back and fix the sounds on the route in the future too.

That was never true though, they just announced the preserved collection separately and then used that as an excuse for a 2 week delay.

If you watch the streams it was admitted that they agreed on having the preserved collection brought across at a meeting in April before TSW2 was even announced publicly. I raised this issue right then in the chat but no-one saw it. One of the roadmap streams IIRC.

I don't watch all the streams so haven't seen that one.

Have they said that they were repairing them whilst being ported on stream or does that still stand?

I believe that they promised to port the DLC exactly as-is, completely unchanged with all outstanding bugs remaining included, albeit with the caveat that absolutely game-breaking bugs like Miles Platting would be fixed. Given the state of the Preserved Collection audio and physics, I wish that promise was kept. Any and all improvements or bugfixes made to old DLC would be done at DTG's discretion and we were told not to expect any until otherwise stated.

Well then they set up a group especially for dealing with the preserved collection, so they can't have it both ways. I think they are still burned from over promises in the past, so that line is their go-to but you can still read between the lines (or listen to Adam who doesn't remember the line). Adding preserved collection into livery designer, adding PIS, new platforms etc, they are going to try and even out the content so it is all TSW2 standard IMO. I think a fair bit of the new tech you see on new routes will, over time via Adam's team, be added into older routes.

It sounds like to me they are planning ahead to avoid technical debt. By keeping the preserved content up to date, should there be another engine update in future, you haven't got huge quantities of work to do to move the oldest routes forward.to the latest engine, as you have kept everything up to date.

Obviously this is reading between the lines, with no insider knowledge, but with small amount of IT knowledge mixed with what has been announced, it would seem a reasonable point of view to hold...

They brought the preserved collection over... with even more bugs. Should we would consider that overdelivering?
