Hello. I've discovered this game a short time ago and I am enjoying a lot. I also discovered that the old game version, train sim world 2020 contains a lot of routes I would like to try. So if I buy a route addon for train sim world 2020 in steam, will I have it available for tsw2?
If you own TSW2020 then yes - if you do not own TSW2020 then it will not appear in TSW2. (You would need to buy if from the TSW2 Store), However I believe the TSW2020 core game may be on offer in the current sale giving a good way to get 3 preserved routes for a reduced price (Cant really count Sand Patch as you get it as part of the TSW2 core game).
Ok, thanks. I saw the TSW2020 with a pack of 5 DLC's in steam for a very good price. But if that routes and trains won't be available at TSW2, I think I will keep out of it.
They will be available for TSW2. The only routes that aren’t available in TSW2 are the original Sand Patch Grade (you have a new version in TSW2) and NEC New York, which is the only route that is exclusive to TSW2020. When you buy TSW2020 you get all the other included routes and add-ons included in the bundle for TSW2 as well for free.
