When using the double track tool in the route editor, is there a way to make one track one type of track, and the other track different? I'm recreating a route which requires that and I don't know how to easily do it.

Lay a single track and then use the offset tool for the other track type

Lay the double track the normal way, and then use the highlight/measurement tool to change the track type in the properties tab.

If I recall, that sometimes does weird things with the track rules.

Not sure, not an issue I've come across yet but then I've only done very small edits never a whole route, I do know that sometimes other track rules don't show in the side pop out menu when highlighted though, not sure if that's something I've done or not done correctly.
