I assume when we get it on xbox, there will a fraction of the traffic on the road/bridge!

Looking very nice. Really looking forward to this route and the blend of high speed and non-high speed sections.

They could always save some memory and make the traffic static...... it normally is anyway;)

Is this the footbridge just as you come out of Gillingham before the tunnel to Chatham?

Looks nice. The art work looks nice as well although I wish the passengers that are inside the trains as shown by the artwork were actual passenger models in the game

Judging by the unpainted trains I'm guessing this isn't as close to release as people think. Maybe mid-february? Also I might be going blind but does anyone else see what might be working GSMR? Good to see the screen on the left hand side is working anyway.

From what I see, I think this is just a texture and will be non-functional.

The bridge you see is the Dartford Crossing and crosses the River Thames. Essex is on the north side and Kent is on the south side.

Looking forward to this route. Recently got it for TS in the sale.

Wonder if we will be able to walk round London st Pancras. High level guess low level won't be there.
Layering will be interesting with this route. When the 465 gets released.

Judging by the LGV having similar unpainted trains on the 27th November and then releasing on the 17th of December. I recommend on the 28th of January this will be released.

Why do new liveries have the red/orange stripe at the top of the train?

The SE 395 has it, so does GWR and TPE.

GSMR stands for Global System for Mobile Communications – Railway, its a communication system that allows the drivers to talk to signallers and has several other features. This should explain it in more detail than I ever could: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GSM-R
As Mkdog45 says, it's so you can tell where the wheelchair area is from outside the train just as a yellow line is used to denote first class.

unless he means the thin orange line, thats mostly for railway workers and emergency services. the orange line is the electricity arcing distance from the overhead, above that line and youre at risk of the 25,000 AC arcing to you.

The first time we saw the TGV it had no textures at all, those screenshots look more like the base livery from the livery designer. The final livery probably hasn't got approval yet.

I did mean the thin orange line. That explains it. Thank you :)

I think you might mean the cant rail line? It's located where the body and roof join, where the roof starts to curve (hence "cant") and is also used as a safety marker where generally there'll be OHLE in use.

Definitely a day one purchase for me. Nice to see Rochester and the Queen Elizabeth bridge looking so good. I hope the Russian submarine will be in the right place in the Medway.

Funny thing is... The route is neither new nor "high speed". It has already been released on the Train Simulator (also from London to Faversham) and the smallest part of the route is on the HS1. All the rest is on the old North Kent line which is much older and therefore much slower.

I do own the ts version and it's a blast well not in terms of the speed because this is not really a high speed route for the majority of the route

Just bare in mind that’s an artists impression rather than an actual screenshot from the game.

Yet another recycled route from Train Simulator. For one moment I was interested as I thought this might include the missing part of the earlier release - that from Ebbsfleet to Ashford International. But like many TSW releases it is yet another chance for many TS loyal customers to simply buy again what they have already bought. And it's getting a bit tiring.......

What I hope for, is once this is out. We get some extensions to routes happening. As it’s constantly asked. Also I hope the sounds, the SOUNDS. Are quality. The Class 375 does differentiate from the 377. I just wish Armstrong Powerhouse could code for TSW.
