I do agree with what you are saying, but the reason why this is happening is because of the pandemic. They already have the resources to make these ts routes into tsw2 so it's much easier to make routes that way. Hopefully when the pandemic is over, we won't get so many routes that are in ts into tsw2 although ts routes coming to tsw2 do look much better. Also not everybody who owns tsw2 owns or may not have played ts2021 because they may not have a pc or a decent laptop to play the game.

Looks really good and definitely a day one purchase.
One question though, do you think we would be able to couple a 377/4 and the 375/9 together.

I don't really think the pandemic is the reason. There's a good chance this route was in its initial planning stages pre-covid and we defiantely got TS routes in TSW before covid as well.

Sure it may have had some affect in terms of utilisation of existing resources, travel bans etc but I doubt its a major factor.

We should be able to. We are able to couple the LIRR M3 and M7 after all...

Hi guys , just wondering, this may not be a question that anyone is able to answer yet , but do you know if the class 375 will be in both southeastern liveries ( yellow and white and blue and purple) , or just the standard yellow and white ?

I suspect it would be the current blue/purple livery.

I think it's the same livery as the TS route (yellow/grey/white one)

I think that it will be in the dark blue livery as the 395s have the 10 years of highspeed on the side and that was in 2019 when there was no yellow/ white 375s

It doesn't really matter because you will be able to paint them in blue/light blue or yellow and white in the livery designer quite easily should you choose.

Two completely different operational units compared to the UK, as much as the 377 and 375 look alike I haven’t seen them coupled together because its a different engineered train. Although the same family; operationally they are powered for different regions in the UK, the 377 is for express services to Brighton as well as the semi fast services; the 375 is for local Kent services and the 387 again is for stopping services but faster speeds. The American railroading is a completely different ball game to UK. As M7 and M3 are pretty much doing the same thing.

In the UK we have different strokes for different folkes ;-)

Not sure if this is a LOD issue but can you guys check this out as the grass terrain clips over the track? Thanks.

Hoooooooooly moly those train models look soooo good! Those swooping curves, the details in the headlights, all those panels on the sides...man, I could just stare at them all day! Kudos to the artists and modelers. I seriously can't wait to drive these trains ;)

Has it been acknowledged that it doesn’t work as it should by DTG yet? I’ve not seen anything.

This does look like a good route and the train models look great. Looking forward to seeing it preview streams soon.

That happens on every route, not sure why but I've seen that before multiple times.

Looking forward to seeing the DLC on stream!

Do you think the TGV can be used here without activating "Off the rails"? It has the same safety system, doesn't it?

No as it’s not a substitution to the 395 the only TGV running on HS1 is the Class 373 so yeah off the rail then

Looks great, if they do release it with heavy road traffic like that it would be very immersive....another step forward.
I hope they've improved the UK signalling. They currently look great in GWE,ECW etc, lots of variants, but I don't think we've had approach control implemented as yet. The UK routes seem to be lagging behind the German routes in that respect.

Also, minor point, but we still seem to have a non UK rail font for the speed signs as shown in that pic....they appear to have the correct fonts for other countries but not here in the UK! I wonder why? (Bakerloo however has the correct fonts?) Gill Sans variants seems to be a close font if that helps. I know, nit picking, but all helps towards a more immersive experience, all my humble opinion of course.

But, yes, instant purchase for me, looks superb. Nice one DTG.

I think at the end, with the help of a real french train driver, we figured it was working correctly, it was bugged for half a day on XBOX because they accidentally released an old dev build, but it has been fixed really quickly.

I hope the one is SE HS will be accurate, since from my understanding there are some differences (max speed 225, and the use of the 80 aspect - absent in LGV).

Also do you think it will be the 3,4 or 5 car version of the 375? Personally I prefer the 5 car prototype

It may have the same safety systems but is not a Train which is in regular use on this line so probably off the rails mode

Is this a route like LGV with a start and end point and almost nothing in between or are there also many stations with intermediate stops and freight traffic?

    :)
Kind of . The 375 and 395 share the same tracks up to ebbsfleet , where the 375 terminates , and then the 395 completes power changeover whilst passengers are boarding . The high speed line then continues under Tvm control and goes to Stratford and then continues along to St Pancras International where the train terminates :D

No the 375's don't go as far as Ebbsfleet, they run between Faversham and Rochester before continuing to London Victoria via Bromley South. The Thameslink 700's, and previously some Southeastern services would run as far as Gravesend. Ebbsfleet only has High Speed Services calling at it.

I really hope they include the High Speed services through to Dover Priory, Sandwich etc so we can at least drive them between St Pancras and Ebbsfleet lower level before they disappear into a portal, otherwise the High Speed section and St Pancras will be quite empty.

So unless I'm missing the point ( usually do) where does the 465 run to/from?, or is that a 375 sub?

Oh that is a shame... I was hoping to get a good length of travel out of those... oh well. Hopefully some Thameslinks may join the route as a DLC... probably won’t though.

This is something I noticed too. The font they used for the speed boards on the Bakerloo Lime was a step forward, as it looked more realistic and was higher resolution. However for whatever reason, they’ve seemed to take a step back and use that horrible, blocky and low res default font again?

Wait that's not correct Ebbsfleet international is only used by HS1 (which only uses 395s) and Eurostar. There is a station north of ebbsfleet called northfleet which is on the north kent line, southeastern operates on this line but only as far as Gravesend, the other services are thameslink. HS1 goes via this line and then at strood changes onto the chatham mainline to go up to Faversham. There are then separate southeastern services that go from Faversham on chatham main line to London but they don't go via Northfleet so I'm pretty sure there are no direct 375 services from Faversham to Northfleet.

We are getting this 375/9 with this route, so it’s going to be DC only unfortunately. Just like the 377/4 we have in ECW.

I believe they run to Dartford, Gravesend, Faversham and Gillingham.

Whether it’ll introduce more services or just sub in for the 375 is another question, but I hope it’s the former.

Is there a need to change over to DC with the Class 395? Because I’m pretty sure that the HS1 section is OHLE...

Yes. At Ebbsfleet International. This is where you change power sources from AC to DC and vice versa.

The thing that has been on my mind is where are the class 395 going to be stabled over night as Ashford and Ramsgate depot won’t be in the game and I wonder if we will have services from st Pancras to other destinations that make us go to ebsfleet international and then we exit and AI continue the service out the map like a secret service

No I don't think so. They continue to London Victoria/London Canon Street or in the other direction Faversham and beyond. Some terminate at Gillingham which is a couple of stops down the line towards Faversham.

What type of trains run the services from Gravesend to Charing Cross? As if it's the 375s, they may also be used for AI services that terminate in the Gravesend bay platform to make the section of the route to Ebbsfleet a bit more lively.
Edit: From looking at photos it seems these services are mainly run by 465s, so it's a possibility that they could be added when that's released.
