Not much longer, the new lockdown and schools being closed has slowed me down a bit but progress is being made each day.

    Onwards and upwards as always.

Just a little update - I'm working with a Network Rail OTM driver to get the tamper detailing just right.

We now have the cab controls for transfer to possessions mapped out properly. Only took 6 months! Haha.

And another one, it's a little untidy (only just cracked it, so no speed sync just yet) but it does set expectations of what the thing will do when released :)

    Enjoy!

Thanks, it's a little rough around the edges, but the thing does what its supposed to do, at the flick of a switch.

That's it for media until it's about ready :)

Dunkrez, if you’ve been reading the other thread, you need to down tools on these other projects: a BR blue Class 26 is now top priority :)

Haha, I'm just in the process of gauging and setting up a robust production process. Got to build this first loco to achieve that - 47, 104, 85, 71, HST MTU cab and 26 all on the radar.

I cannot wait to have it ready for you guys to drive about in and tamper away, a good thing for creating interesting scenarios with too, as there will be an AI version that will tamper ballast :)

I'd be surprised if it doesn't have all the bells & whistles judging by the amount of effort Dunkrez has put into it...

Thank you inversnecky, should be a nice piece of kit when complete. It's been a vertical climb of a learning curve all the way through, but worth every obstacle I've faced so far.

Well, I sorted out working lights yesterday, and textured more of the cabs. Still the control desks to texture, controls to hook up (driveable with keys only at present) and then sounds. Also want to get the loco body using trainubershader.fx before it ships.

It can't be more than a month of dev time left. Mid-April is looking highly likely.

Updated original 4K guide to include the new -fastload tag.

Thanks go to DTG for rolling this update out, a remarkable improvement to load times!

Do you guys all play with dynamic lighting ?
Is there any way to have a nice quality without this setting which eat all the frame rates ?

Yes. I use the AP sky & weather pack, which needs it.

It doesn't seem to be that much of a frame rate hit here. What are you using?
