Probably the 28th if we are lucky. To me they seem to do releases on the Thursday after a roadmap. Next roadmap 26th, Sam said it was close so I think this would be a good date to put my 10p bet on.

I would say no earlier than 28 January for a release date. Sam said last night that nothing will be released before the next roadmap which is due on 26 January. The 28 is then the first Thursday afterwards. I am excited for it and will be buying it on launch day.

I think 2-3 weeks was the consensus from the stream chat, so I'll go with that.

Though, this may be a silly question: Do DLCs get released earlier for PC and then consoles get it later? Or is it on the same day for every platform?

DLC's are released on the same day, with Consoles it would midnight your local time, and for PC's it's not until about 8-9am when Steam opens up.

it’s the same day but consoles get it several hours earlier due to steam stores release schedules.

This type of DLC is the sort that I can pretty much guarantee to be buying on launch day.

I like the mix of high speed and local commuter runs, giving me the opportunity for a quick blast along the route, or a more time consuming stop / start commuter service. These routes offer great value for money in my opinion.

Thanks for that info. I wasn't sure about the situation since I've never really checked DLCs much. Only recently got back into TSW.

I think this DLC is one I'll be picking up at launch (money permitting). The 495 that goes along with it as a DLC loco is also on my list whenever that arrives.

Especially ones that aren’t traffic demanding, like the Munich line, it’s far too empty without layers.

The only thing we’ll miss on this route is Eurostar services running along HS1 which aren’t all that frequent anyway, and I don’t expect Hoo yard to be occupied, and obviously TL & EMR services in St Pancras won’t be there, but even then by the time the 465 arrives it’ll be a much more complete line (rolling stock wise).

Can’t wait for it! Shame it won’t go down to Ashford

Yup, if both SEHS & ECW went into Ashford it would of been great to get both operators there.

The 170 is one of my dream units for TSW, that and the 68.

Hopefully we will get a ScotRail route with those, still SEHS will keep me happy.

This wasn't the case though as sometimes the console release would be a day or two after the PC. And sometimes the Xbox One and PS4 release dates wouldn't be on the same date.

That was due to errors by DTG not following the proper date format. They have promised not to make that mistake again.
