Following the encouraging Roadmap stream last Tuesday. I think we need to get our thoughts regarding Preserved collection sounds. Comments plus youtube clips perhaps, so that Adam and the team know what we're happy with or feel needs further work. I'll start the ball rolling. Even though GWE recent addition has made great strides in terms of sounds lately. I feel the HST is missing something still, externally. The deep rumble... If the horn could be less muffled and maybe more reverb, that would be the icing on the cake....
Personally, improved motor and flange sounds on the 377 would be better with proper internal sounds and a longer compressor sound would be great
There are other trains that sound much worse and can use immediate audio fixes in the preserved collection such as the m3/m7, the 377 besides the class 43
Maybe give American content some love. I can’t tell you a single American loco in the game that sounds quite right. The drone noise at long distances and the low rumble aren’t there and don’t get me started on the horns. I’d say the Caltrain locos have it the closest but any improvement would be appreciated.
The sounds of the m7 cut out and hopefully it gets fixed soon. The Class 43 sounds better than in tsw2020 and doesn't need audio improvements in my opinion although any improvement would be welcome
