Will there be 'catch up' opportunities (such as YouTube) for those unable to "Watch Live on the Steam Store!"?
We're recording the SEHS section of the stream and will upload it to YouTube after the weekend. We'll also have additional preview stream(s) ahead of its launch.
All times we list are in UTC (which is the same as GMT). We use UTC because there's a sizable part of the British viewing public who don't spot the difference between GMT and BST.
I love the first broadcast where they show a route, also with Matt & Sam. I think they make a great couple!
Looking forward to seeing this. It’s a shame the whole event is Steam only though. That means sitting at my PC to watch it. YouTube I can watch anywhere. So I’ll watch this and not bother with the rest.
Is there an actual reason why it's all on Steam rather than Twitch? It's not the end of the world but it would have been nice to watch it live on Twitch rather than wait for the upload to YouTube. DTG Protagonist
It's because the event "Festival of Rail" is exclusive to Steam for this weekend only. Once this event is over we will continue to stream to our regular channels.
Will any of them be uploaded to youtube afterwards. As I am looking forwar to the SEHS but will be working.
Yes we will be, there are only a handful of bits that won't be uploaded, you won't miss out on any SEHS footage. We will also be doing some more SEHS streams after the event.
Agreed. I also love the bi-weekly Tuesday Roadmap ones with Sam & Adam, especially when Adam gets told off for promising a bit too much or saying something else he really shouldn't
Slightly off topic: The things listed in the schedule with a "(DE)" suffix, are they being broadcast in German?
I have never attended a Steam Stream event. Only Twitch & YouTube. Where do I go, what do I have to do?
I appreciate it's ETS not TSW, but I imagine it's the same - when they're live, click TSW2 in the Steam Library, and it should appear. Alternatively, if you don't have TSW 2 on PC, look it up in the Steam Store, and it'll be on the store page. Steam link for TSW2: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1282590/Train_Sim_World_2/ I'm not sure, however, if it'll be simulcast on the TS2021 page.
Ah ok, that's fine, I was under the impression I needed the Steam player to watch it. Do I need to sign up?
Aaah the Sam & Matt show with the emphasis on Sam, he obviously wears the trousers in that relationship
Glad it’s not on twitch. Find twitch hangs four or five times when watching a Dtg stream so I mainly watch them on the tube.
They are online, right now. https://store.steampowered.com/app/...DN6guxW_dFNiFE14crFOOoeOe7JCeHyE2_NyzW8Zw1yGA
Constant buffering for me Glad the streams are not on Steam everytime. Plus I can't chat in Steam I must be a complete noob profile wise ;-) I'll wait for it to be on Youtube I think
Yeh it’s pretty much unwatchable my end, when the buffering does finish it skips to live so you skip a few minutes every time. I’ll look forward to the YouTube version.
Oh my, they have working crossing gates this time! Is this the first time they've been a thing since the original Sand Patch?
yes the KPH and MPH switchover is there both in the cab and on the HUD, and level crossings now open and close as you enter/leave that section of the route.
According to Sam on the SEHS stream today it will be uploaded to Youtube by Monday. But said that there will be another SEHS stream on Twitch and Youtube closer to release.
Did last nights stream finish early, or was my steam playing up, saw the first bit about SEHS, but had to do something else then when I came back around midnight (UK) nothing seemed to be broadcasting?
I think it finished about 1AM. I joined at about 20 past midnight and the stream was absolutely fine.
The Sam & Adam streams are a weird vibe. It's like watching Joe Pesci in 'Goodfellas': "I'm funny how? I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh? I'm here to ******* amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?" Top stream pairings, by vibe: 1. Natalie and Jamie 2. Matt and Jamie 3. Sam and Matt
