I currently have the Class 319, some Class 377 (Idk from which add-on), some Class 375 (dk from which add-on either) and the Class 378/2 that are dual voltage units. However, I am not sure the steps to change power mode in each units, would someone help me with that? Thanks
I can't see anything in the manuals mentioning about how to change from AC to DC or vice versa so I ask here
Hello. I have a problem in North London Goblin activity n ° 7 with class 378: When I have to change the DC system to AC the shoe goes down well but the pantograph does not rise. However, I press the right buttons in the cabin: mount the shoe, mount the pantograph Thanks and Best Regards from France Denis
Have you tried pressing the pantograph button on the F4 HUD and/or the P key? Sometimes the in-cab buttons have wonky code and a keypress sorts them out.
Attaching the manual just in case you don't know where it is. I recommend playing the North London Line or London-Faversham scenarios first, they explain things fairly well. Or watch on Youtube. I mess up the sequence sometimes but a bit of repeating usually sorts it out. Been 18 months so I'd rather not claim I remember. I recall one version is Shoes up (off), Pan up (on), or of course the other way around. With the 395 you only have to push Pan up, but then also switch it on. Or the other way around, makes sense either way.
Good evening and thank you very much for your replies. I tried the power change again. I waited to see the trackside change signal, then I pressed the "U" key on my AZERTY keyboard and got a train simulator message that I had switched from the soleplate to the pantograph. I tested later by pressing P and came back to the soleplate. Thanks to both of you (also for the manual which I know very well)
A-ha! My spidey sense told me it had something to do with the InputMappers file and how it treats pantographs. Nice job finding the solution, and you're very welcome.
