    • Wind Sounds are now on the 395
    • Fences added to HS1
    • Track Ballast Fixed in some places (Stratford Intl. Still looks a bit dark)
    • About 50% More Services were added (264 Services Now)
    • Ebbsfleet Lower Level is still not useable
    • The 395 still uses 377 Throttle Sound
    • The 395 now has audible Wind Noise, although it is less noticeable when compared to the Class 375
    • The 395 Traction Motor Sound is now Audible
    • No Track Noise (Except when traveling over Junctions)
    • The 395 Reuses 377 Whistle
    • No Wiper Sound
    • The 375 Has a Mysterious Second Livery *
    • Hoo Junction now has Static Trains
    • There are now Freight Services along the route (Along with Railtour Services)
    • Lighting is messed up in some places (Will be fixed with a Post Release Patch)
    • Passenger Numbers on PC is sizable (Cry for Consoles)
    • On-Train PIS is set Automatically (Class 395)
    • The 375 PIS Font is still too big
    • Certain Destinations can't be picked from the Class 375 PIS (Matt claims it's going on his list)
    • The 375 still uses the same sounds from the 377, despite community feedback saying that the 377 sound was incorrect in certain places
    • Passenger lights on 395 Washes out the interior
    • Judging from the Scenario Names, they seem rather boring
    • The scenery around St. Pancras is... questionable
It seems that the route was given a good amount of fixes that the community asked for. The Fences were added, alongside with fixes to the Javelin Sound and some of the Track Ballast.

I have an issue with the Track Noise though. I can understand if the HS1 Portion is quiet because it is new, continuously welded rail, but you should be able to hear Track Noise older "Slow-Speed" portions between Ebbsfleet and Faversham. It's rather disappointing that the 375 Still uses the 377 sound, even though it was pointed out (with proof) that there were some different tones missing from the Traction Motor noise.

I think the fixes they've added are substantial enough to convince some people who were debating whether or not to get the route to get it, although, they could've done more with certain parts of the route/rolling stock.

1 * Track Noise/Running Noise is going to be looked at by Matt
    2 * Could be a Custom Livery

They said that track noise was added but maybe they forgot about that and will work on adding it in a update

What's the second livery for the 375?

I don't think there is a second livery for the 375. I think it's just 4 car vs 8 car, as on East Coastway.

yeah this is the most likely scenario, same goes for the livery option on the 395, probably the 6 car.

I didn't hear it, and it was the main thing I was looking for. Only thing I could hear is the tracks while going over Junctions, but no Noise from the Track Joints. Matt said he'll take a look at it though.

There are no track joints on our railways any more. The only track joint sounds you will here on modern routes are at junctions.

Would the Non-HS1 portions be considered Modern?

The track that’s used is modern. I’m talking about modern in a TSW routes sense. We’ve had welded rail here for 50 years or more, so it’s pretty much all welded now. It’s got to be getting on for 40 years since they converted my local line.

I noticed that all the AI trains were running with the night light settings as apposed to the day time.

I suspect the 'mysterious' second livery wasn't a different car variant but instead a custom design Matt had done while playing around with the game, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't expect too much track noise, though there should be on points and squealing on sharp curves. As stujoy says, we have very little jointed track on the network now with that being mainly on some rural branch lines with light traffic.

But running sound should still be audible, right? While watching videos of Southeastern 375’s and other Trains around the UK, I’ve heard Track/Running Noise. That’s what I’m trying to say. That noise was not there when they showed off the route.

There should be some running sounds. They do tend to be very quiet in TSW, so hard to tell if there were any from watching the stream, especially whether the low frequency rumble was there.

Yeah, either the volume needs to be increased on it, or it just needs to actually be added to the route.

It will most likely be the 4 & 8 car variants, rather than a different livery. The same can be seen on other routes for example the class 20 shows with the "change livery" icon but when you select it you'll see that there's 2 shown with the exact same large logo railfreight grey livery, just one is the single class 20 and the other is the double header class 20.
It would be nice if there was a better way of showing this in the menu.

I'm still on the fence about buying the route tomorrow. Given my personal issues with the LGV route (the scenery mainly), I'm concerned this release will still be underwhelming, and maybe it would be worth it to wait for a sale.

On the other hand, I absolutely love driving the TGV Duplex and I think I will love driving the 395.

Apparently someone who has played it today had the screen wiperes making noise, so maybe you can remove that line after release tomorrow!

I'm one of the weak willed people who caved in and got the route early through Steam. Personally, I'm loving the route!

Can confirm the "livery" option is the 4 or 8 car formation sets.

Seems to be hit or miss then. When I get my hands on the route tomorrow, I'll check and remove it from the notes if I hear it.

Most of the GEML and the WCML are still held together with fishplates and sticky back plastic..... Plenty of joints there.... Pretty sure CK95 can confirm that jointed track is still the main type of rail in most parts of the network.

It’s unfortunately rather complicated, and really depends on particular rail routes and even then certain parts of said railway.

Obviously I don’t know the exact figures on what track is jointed, but usually jointed track is only replaced if it becomes too much of a hassle to maintain, so usually the busier areas around main stations and high traffic sections of track are replaced if work is being done in that particular area, but then in some areas it’s faster to just repair and maintain, even if it is a persistent issue, the issue however with mainlines is that replacing jointed track will restrict line speed for around a week after work is done (depending on the method used to relay said track) and obviously it’s NR that foots the bill for delays.

The best answer I can give is, yes, a hell of a lot of UK track is still jointed, however since 2015 Network Rail has spent a hell of a lot of money on upgrading crossing points, switches etc, basically any area of track that is especially susceptible to wear, doing so is a faster way of improving the lifespan of a track, without actually having to replace miles worth of it.

Basically my opinion is that we should have more 'clickety clack' in-game, however I cannot speak on a route by route basis.
