Roadmap Update - 9th February 2021

So we have NO Info on the SEHS updates we were promised by Sam? That makes no sense.

 

It’s quite confusing can you not just go back to telling us what’s in production upcoming in planning and next arrival

The professional approach would be to continue using the current roadmap format whilst working on a new format. However DTG are currently keeping the downwards trend with SEHS, 101, BR Blue Pack...

 

EXACTLY. SEHS Info was a minimum expectation today.

 

Exactly. So basically, while they are designing the new roadmap we aren't getting a roadmap? What?

Almost seems like DTG are going back to their old secretive ways: 'Individual fixes and improvements will only be listed when they are included within a patch'.

 

Why is everything about lirr?

 

I prefer the old format of the roadmap and not this one, Hope you get a lot of negative feedback and change it back to the old version !!

 

That is rubbish and ridiculous no info on sehs and no upcoming next arrival and stuff

Cannot see no fixture list for Southeastern high speed

 

AND, no mention of the inability to use custom 377 liveries

 

A long list of LIRR fixes, but no mention of the too many route maps impacting the total number of jobs on the route. I’ve raised this issue at least twice

 

Why have a I got a sneaky feeling they’re trying to restrict what we know until it’s due to come out like the old days?

I don't understand what this is.

First, on the last update, as far as I can tell the patch notes are inaccurate, but all the items on the roadmap are the ones that actually got fixed.
For example, the tunnel in Avignon now correctly spawns, and the trees don't flicker anymore as stated in the roadmap but missing in the patch notes.

So you removed the most reliable way to get informations on what we get on the various updates, because I always assume the patch notes are inaccurate. The problem was not the roadmap but the patch notes.

Could you not have released the roadmap with the "big items" anyway? Is the 465 now on upcoming, has it moved to next arrival? What about the '70s BR Blue pack and Arosa which seems like they are close to release.

We are probably approaching 3 DLCs releasing in possibly 3-4 weeks and right now we lost the roadmap?

 

Does that mean that Track Noise will be more audible while in tunnels?

Finally, this is being fixed. Now I can finally open my window again.

I really like that LIRR is finally getting some love. Hopefully, this will get me back into the route. I'm just hoping for some better Track Noise and a fix to the audio on the M7 and M3.

 

should've kept the old format until the new one is released, also its just fixes for content I don't even own. wheres the sehs fix or 377 fix

So, you didn't want the audio to be more accurate? Didn't know people got upset when things that were wrong, are fixed. Just seems like you're upset because nothing else was on the roadmap today. Calm down, the other routes will get their fixes.

I just don't understand why they couldn't keep all of it on the roadmap.

 

I think the SEHS scenery was made with a cig packet too.

 

What a load of waffle and not a lot of useful information that we've been looking forward to seeing

 

Just gonna add to the list of people saying this isn't a good direction.

Making the roadmap clearer and removing all the content from the roadmap is not the same thing.

This feels like a huge step back.

 

And why haven't they been added to today's article? Not everyone has time to spend two hours watching a stream to find out the same information contained in a five minute article.

The transparency from DTG is taking a worrying trend downwards again.

 

Oof. For me it is fine that we will get the SEHS Infos on stream but what about the people who don't want to/don't have time to join the stream? Surely a let down this week's roadmap.

In all fairness though the sheer number of fixes for LIRR are uplifting, if the other routes get thoroughly touched in a way that lirr is being now, we can expect lots of fixes and improvements which is highly beneficial for the players and the state of the game/its content!

I really don't like this "new" roadmap version...

 

I just hope all the sound fixes on the M7 won't push the fixes for German locomotives further back. It's been 5 months and they still have completely broken sound (or rather, no sound at all). The M7 is at least playable so it shouldn't be a priority.

 

I agree. If they do this for all of the Preserved Collection Routes/Locos that need it, then for the TSW 2 routes, it's gonna make a lot of the community happy. Or at least we hope that.

Who thought this was a good idea? Sometimes feels like they are trying to stir up the community for a laugh!

 

The M3/M7 also has really broken sounds. All routes will eventually get the fixes (hopefully), LIRR just turned out to be first.

Well, this is a big letdown.

 

Whilst I am glad that the lirr is getting fixes, this is not how I was expecting the roadmap to be.It seems that they went one step foward but two steps back. It's a good thing that the lirr is finally gonna get fixed

 

No, it isnt that, you are speaking for a herd, I for one (as a brit) havent used LIRR and couldnt care less about the route. You are right about other routes tho, but the new SEHS needed to be higher than this, they needed to be on there too. and yeah, put the other stuff on there.

 

This is a shame, we are all tired of your attitude DGT. We want solutions, and you only bring us problems.

Sorry but that is just stupid. If this new "roadmap" contains everything from the last roadmap just include it there. And if you have SEH patch notes, just list them in this new roadmap instead of forcing people to watch an at least 90 minutes stream. And all of this really sounds like having less transparency again like before TSW 2. Count me as not happy with that development. The old roadmap format was fine as it was.
