Yesterday's premiere of Bahnstrecke Riesa - Dresden for TS made me realize how much I want to get new content to TSW for the German part of the virtual tracks. I want it all and I want it now!

A purely speculative thread, as long as someone somehow does not have specific data. Don't you? :D

DB BR 187 - Developed by Skyhook Games (For Rhein-Ruhr Osten)
Additional services? Additional wagons? Useful on other German routes of course :) TRAXX meh meh

    DB BR 101 (Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr)
IC services and new white wagons. Unfortunately, trapped in HRR. Because where else would you squeeze an old school IC? HRR will be so apt!

Vossloh G6 (Rhein-Ruhr Osten) - Developed by TSG
Intermodal terminal shunter. Only for RRO.

DB BR420 Electric Multiple Unit (Hauptstrecke München-Augsburg) - Developed by TSG
I'm very curious here, but I'm afraid we'll only get the train. Not bad :)

DB BR232 Diesel Locomotive (Ruhr-Sieg Nord) - Developed by TSG
I would like to believe this premiere smells of dethroning 155. New wagons. Services. Scenarios. Everything! I got excited. A new era of super-cool! For sure. TSG?

Hamburg - Lübeck. With DB BR 112 + Doppelstockwagen & MRCE BR 182
DTG. No copy and paste, please :D

Order. What, when, and why only then. American toys seem to have a higher priority, at least with regard to Hamburg-Lubeck. Any ideas? :)

I stopped playing TSW roundabout in December and return when the DB BR232 and/or DB BR420 is out. Because this might take some more month to happen hopefully the sound and one billion other issues with the routes and locos in preserved collection is at least at an level it doesen't turn me off anymore. I think I read somewhere the routes get looked at when there is new content (for it) about to release.

I'm desperately craving for new German content, too and all you mentioned above is a sure purchase.

German content is the most exciting for me as well. OK I am biased since I live in Germany, but the layer system really works in favor of the german content.

It is highly likely that I will get any Germany dlc at release, given that they don't release it broken.

In regards to the release order, I would expect Hamburg Lübeck to arrive after Clinchfield. US content has been lacking for a while now so that is absolutely fair.

DB 101 I would reckon arrives in between Clinchfield and Hamburg Lübeck. Remember that they tend to release updates for the countries that get new content, right now we have a load of LIRR fixes on the horizon, which fits with Clinchfield, and Adam confirmed that after that they will work on rapid transit and main Spessart Bahn (hopefully fixing the horrid sounds!), which could then arrive around the time of either the BR 101 or the new german route.

DB Br 187 is quite unsure, as far as I know not a drop of information has been released on it so far.

TSG addons I wouldn't hold my breath on, they have made very clear that they want it working as perfect as possible and that they will take their time with it. This also means that these might even come around as polished as possible, which is basically what alot of people here are asking for - longer dev time for more polishing, so I am absolutely looking forward to their additions.

Since I am already going here, I might as well add my biggest gripes for upcoming content for good measure:
-DB br 101 only on HRR with no layers on other routes whatsoever would be the biggest letdown ever for me. They acknowledged our feedback and said the cab car won't come, so maybe we are lucky and they at least include some layers.
-not getting the db br 218 on Hamburg Lübeck is a huge missed opportunity in my opinion, I might forget something but there are no German main line diesel locomotives in the game yet, so the 218 would have been a perfect addition to that route and the overall roster. At least TSG confirmed that it will come later.

I'm mainly looking forward to the Vossloh G6 locomotive. I would like to know some information about how the work on this locomotive continues.

For the upcoming German content, I'm most excited about the Br 232. First German mainline diesel we're getting. As I'm big into North American Freight, you can see why I'm most excited about it:)

I'm not too fussed about the G6 (it's a bit too modern for my taste), but additional freight services on RRO are definitely welcome. Same goes for Skyhook's Br 187. A new German freight engine is always lovely. I would have liked something other than yet another TRAXX (maybe a Vectron), but I won't complain about more German freight.

I would love getting the Br 420 (you may already have guessed that I like old locos :)), but as long as HMA doesn't have its layers, I'm not getting HMA, so no 420 for me.

I'm still excited about the Br 101. I'm probably getting it soon-ish after launch, but for now, I'm withholding my judgement on it until we know for sure whether it'll layer into different routes or we'll just have it on HRR, which would be a terrible shame.

That only leaves Hamburg - Lübeck. I love Hamburg Hbf, so that's nice. The rolling stock coming with it is not that exciting for me, but TSG already said that they'll probably do a Br 218 for Hamburg - Lübeck, which is a strong point in favour of the route for me.

I assume you're asking when the stuff is coming out? I think for TSG, we'll get Br 420, G6, Br 232 in that order based on the order of pictures we were shown by TSG. As for DTG, I really have no idea. I guess the Br 101 will come before Hamburg-Lübeck, but I really don't know. Skyhook has been real quiet about their stuff. I've seen it being mentioned on the forums that Cane Creek will be their first release, so I assume the Br 187 is still a long time away.

Work is going well but slow yet. Counts for all three in production DLCs.

G6 is running fine but we had massive problems with the 3d art so that we had to rebuilt the whole thing again to get it ready for TSW. These are the things you have to deal with when doing stuff for new simulators, especially for TSW. Besides that i'm working on DTG products, mainly to learn about how all this works, secondly to try to make some little things more prototypical (what not always is a success yet).

232 is in its middle state of doing the 3d art. Again here, we had to change some bits to provide a good product. Generally it is a simple to do loco at least, compared to the others (no MU stuff, no other (over)complicated systems).
420 is doing well too for it's 3d art. I already made some progress with the setup for it. But that is a EMU and will take much longer time to get ready working.

My goal is to have them all three out this year. No idea if that will happen. I do not promise anything yet. The learning path is steep, massively steep.

I can‘t speak for anyone else, but I would like to thank you for how open you are about your products. I appreciate the honesty and sharing your progress. I for one am glad to hear that you take your time to deliver a well made product. :)

I believe you helped with the Br 363 sounds? If so, I just want to say that it sounds absolutely fantastic! :D

    Thank you for the insight!
I suppose it must be quite tough to advance that many months into you work before you can even start making money with it.
But here are loads of people who are looking forward to your work, even if it takes more time - and as we all know, anticipation is the greatest joy.

Thank you so much for all of your work. The german locos improved so much in TSW. I'd pay even more for your stuff, i think e.g. the 420 is worth waaaay more that 13,99€. Is there any opportunity to give you a little tip on top when the locos are out?

Have you given any consideration to doing any more of the vintage locos which DB still has a few of in service (like the 363 is?) I think DTG have called dibs on the 218 (V 160), but what about the Einheitselektrolok family E 10/40/41/50?

Now, what I really want to see is a whole Bundesbahn route from the 60s-70s, but DTG is only interested in vintage if it's English......

I consider a lot, maybe too much some days, often with no results :) 218 is on my plans. I do consider about doing some of the older electric locos, but that makes no sense yet. The available routes are not made for them. And doing a Bundesbahn aera route is nothing that can be done easily and is not really what i could do at all. It's a totally different thing compared to vintage routes from the UK. Most of the tracks are gone, areas loking totally different today, not that much information available for most routes from these past days (and if you barely find them in the public). The main problem i have with this idea is the audience for what the route will be made. They always know more than you, but you cant get them involved into production. So anything i would build (with a good portion of fantasy) will not going well for me. So no, i dont want to do that (yet, where i need to make money). If i'm rich some day, maybe i will find time to try it and take the risk of not selling it well. But now, no chance.

I would like more always and always different, but this pragmatism is probably necessary. It is worth focusing on proven solutions, bringing new quality to the next installments of the same story, leaving the magnum opus for better times. Fingers crossed!

My phantasy? Ok, so an Intercity with a pilot cabcar that run at almost 200km/h (so like a true Intercity) along a modern LZB line.
No, it's not the new route on TS2021 (Dresden-Riesa) neither the Duisburg-Bochum or the, in planning, Hamburg-Lubek.

Well, from what is right now in Produktion, Hamburg-Lübeck, -BR 101 and BR 232 would be bought at release. For future products, it will be great to have routes containing Frankfurt HBF, Berlin HBF and Stuttgart HBF, so the six most used stations (as Hamburg, München and Köln will be bilden by then) in Germany are in the game. Some Bundesbahn-era stuff with the 103, E10, E40, VT 98 etc.would be really great. As for steam the "Rheingold" with an 01 on the left rhine side (Koblenz, Bingen, Mainz for example) seems to be obligatory.

Maik are you interested for making the DB BR 111 with the current DTG Dostos for Rhein Ruhr Osten for RE4 and RE7 ?

I propose that DTG focus on making the timetable as functional as possible, and give us the ability to swap our custom consists in and out at will. Obviously there are limits to train length and power type, passenger or freight, hopper or tank, but given the static ai the coupling, reversing, picking up and dropping off. Why couldnt this be the solution, and totally unique to tsw. For off the rails fans, people that just want to play with different trains, leave scenario editor as it is.

This is totally off topic. Maybe create a new thread about that so you can find people to discuss this further?
