Great news will take a good look! Can you confirm if there any 'noticable changes' to GWE as an update around this release?

Also do you have a PDF of the timetable for this DLC? As that will determine my purchase or not, thanks

I am very impressed that DTG took the time to properly replicate ATC and ACSES. I am especially impressed that the ACSES braking curve calculations are present. This will certainly add a whole other level of realism to the route! Kudos!

Do we start the Train in the Train Yards in this Dlc so we have to first Drive to the Train Stations with an empty Train and prepare everything ourselves?
When can we expect Passengers to be able to open the doors themselves? Can you update us on that one please?

The passengers don’t open the doors. The conductors do.

Yes I know that. I just remembered someone from DTG say a while ago that their Goal is it to improve the Passengers AI to being able to open the Doors themselves. (unfortunately the coments got lost on their Page so I cant search for it and link it)
That would be a good alternative to adding a conductor only for this Dlc into the game and would be awesome to have in GWE and Rapid Transit too.

Still no mention of signals...as usual. Well, at least ATC is there to tell us how fast we should go at each signal.

The signals are standard NEC signals.

ATC will enforce speed restrictions from signals. So if you pass an Approach Limited signal, ATC will enforce 45mph.

Thanks for the manual while we wait -- patiently, in my case, not being one of those folks who "can't wait". The manual's format is, like the engineer, quite familiar, but it's gratifying to see that the quick start guide for the Amtrak ACS-64 instructs the engineer to set up the battery control ("Located on rear wall panel of the cab, at the top left") before sitting down, as opposed to the poor German driver, who is told to sit down before reaching for the cab wall above and behind him.
So far, so good, except that I'm going to have to wipe drool off of my keyboard again.

Attention, these operations can only be requested in the scenarios, and not in circulation.

It would be a shame, but wait to see.

Wait a sec, ACSES is basically PTC, and ATP is basically PTC. Surely if we have a PTC system, designing another couldn't be that much of a pain. Maybe ATP is less of an absurd thing to ask for now...Wonder if it'll ever happen.

What I mean is that in the first installment of TSW, the scenarios included phases of startup of the loco, but not in circulation.
And as have very few scenarios .....

Excuse the translation of Google

I have it on pretty good authority that you have 8 seconds to respond to an ATC alarm, not 5 like stated in the manual. 8 seconds is the FRA standard and it is what most railroads use, but railroads can use a lower value if they want. Did Amtrak tell you guys that theirs was calibrated to 5 seconds? I believe it is 8.

The Manual is great, but you missed out on one important part..
Where are the Signals? And the speeds permitted on different aspects?
Also other things, like speed-limit signs, horn signs ect..

I think the manual should cover those also.

He means why the signal aspects and explanations were not included in the manual. He has a good point.

It is true that the cab will tell you that, but it is not prototypical.
Engineers must have another, independent way of knowing the speed limits. And it's inconceivable to not have the signal aspects documented

Hello, I want to know, is there any way I can get rid of the sign lights that appear on the track when I enter the train station? I don't like it at all.

Ctrl - 7 gets rid of the bars on the track that show where each car needs to go.

    Great .... PS:
Hi Anthony, just saw an old UK police series from the 80-ies: London, Victoria Station, CR45 train, and yes, there was a running conductor slamming the doors shut, but they weren't locked as today. A spicy criminal came out after that, opened and closed the door himself. Those were the days ...

Just started with that Red German Electric BR, a selling success, they use them here even temporarily on a half finished Hi Speed line from Amsterdam to Paris.(The Fyra story, those hi speeds that fell apart on route). And also on the Betuwe route hauling freight from Rotterdam to Germany.

Alas it's as buggy as the others, the only remedy:.save saved games when things are OK for occasional reinstallation and put them in separate folders out of sight.
