With the upcoming release of the Class 465 for Train Sim World 2, I have decided to make a video talking about the General Information on the Rolling Stock, and everything we know about the Game's version of it.

As long as the accelerometer in the cab works, sounds good and has good physics I'll buy it day one.

I am not mistaken it will only run the services between Gravesend and Rainham

I only really care about the sounds. And all I've seen regarding 465 Services was that they will be the same as the 375, nothing specific like only the Gravesend - Rainham ones.

Also using a 75mph max speed EMU on 90mph max track speed would not be great for keeping schedule.

It seems like only 6 services will run all the way to Faversham... and I don't think it will substitute the 375 across all services.

In real life at the moment, I believe they operate Gillingham to London Victoria and Rainham to Charing Cross, when southeastern operated them (now operated by Thameslink with 700s)

Unfortunately these units are rarely used anymore as thameslink took over their runs down to rainham and the 375s to gillingham. It’s very rare they go to Ramsgate vis faversham. They still do services to dartford and Orpington and a few others

The 465/9s are capable of reaching 90mph

Really? IIRC there is a cab sticker on the TS model with Max speed 75 mph, but it was a long time ago since I used a 465 on TS...

I know it's not the best source but it makes sense...

Edit1: Also checked the AP video for the Class465 and you can see the red line to indicate max speed on the speedometer at 75 mph

Edit2: Also found this comment on Railforum.co.uk made by user "Notadriver"
"Hey I made that video when I was a guard from the back cab.

All 465s are rated to do 75 mph. It's not just regearing to go faster, you would also need additional dampers on the bogies.

The schedules have plenty of extra time allowed. They would struggle on Javelin timings however."

From the Southeastern website, I think I've seen enough sources to be pretty sure the 465 has a max speed of 75mph
