Hello everyone, I noticed that for some time no railway simulation game has implemented the Italian high-speed routes, ex. Naples-Rome-Milan, Naples-Bolzano/Bozen, Naples-Venice, Turin-Venice, (Cisalpino) Milan-Basel etc. Also all the modern trains such as the ETR 400 (Frecciarossa 1000), ETR 500, ETR 485, AGV, ETR 600 etc. and the stations created by world-famous architects such as the Reggio Emilia AV - Mediopadana or Napoli Afragola stations. I trust that sooner or later these can be added because it would be a unique touch to the game. Best regards
I don't know the name of it by there is a route that goes onto a boat for a while in Italy, that would be a good idea
It is the IC travelling to and from Sicily. The ferry goes between Villa S.Giovanni and Messina and is used by Inter-City trains to connect Palermo, Agrigento and Catania (Sicily) and (mainly) Naples and Rome in mainland Italy, back in the day there was a train going all the way to Milan but it has been discontinued due to low demand.
Hi, yes you speak about the lines that connect the continent and the island of Sicily, this passage requires the disassembly of the convoys and the boarding of the wagons on particular ferries with rails that go from Villa San Giovanni (Reggio Calabria) to Messina and vice versa, crossing the Messina strait, then the convoy will be reassemble and can continue the service.
