Now I don’t know much about the route due to it being no where near where I live but I thought if they are doing a Reskin pack for GWE then maybe they can make a more modern NTP with the Nova’s operated by TransPennine Express. Honestly I think we need a more modern route and this seems like a great place to start

Yes couldn’t agree more with you there I firmly believe we need sprinters and the 153 is my favourite train

Northern Rail uses this routing Manchester Bradford Leeds Calder Valley Line. therefore NTP 2021 is operated by first group Transpennine Express using class 185s 802s & 68s.

Great idea. This will likely only happen if the Diesel Legends pack is considered a success. In that instance, DTG will possibly release similar packs for the other routes. Besides this there is then a lot more scope for single locomotive dlc to be added to further increase types on any given route as there are so many that are not yet represented.

This is a great idea a NTP is a very nice route.
Remember this would also require DTG to implement AWS on NTP, something I honestly dont see them doing

Also this would require a lot of new trains, it was meant to be scenarios and recycled trains

I think that a lot of what DTG from now on ought to be focussed on "what can we implement that will give the greatest useage on the most lines", so for example if they do a route outside of the London sphere they should do a 158, 143 etc simply because they can be used as an alternative timetable on loads of other routes, so when they build any routes around the country you almost instantly have timetable pack possibilities.
This is one thing which TSC has in abundance, which TSW has been claimed to be lacking, cross route compatibility of assets.
The only downside I can see on this is that the assets are "route tied" so you may need a lot of routes to get the relevant assets
