I knew it woudl be quite easy, but not THAT easy LOL. Correct. Hope I don't get the next one, because I'm gonna make sure it's evil! LOL
Think you’re on the right lines, there, as it does look very familiar: I “was there” a week or so ago, but can’t for the life of me remember where! ETA: just returned after pausing mid draft, to see answer confirmed.
It is a one-off model of a distinctive and famous building not just some general bit of scenery filler that looks about right and fills a gap.
If you know the area and route then it might be easy. I have a number of German routes but "this means nothing to me" and I know it's not Wien
My German geography isn't up to much but I think that's a bit like saying somewhere in Britain between Land's End and John o' Groats. Or is that your point? How about if I zoom out?
'tis indeed. The Apollinariskirche in Remagen Köln-Koblenz. You pass it just north of the station. Phew! I was worried that I'd killed this thread- I just sat down to make a new picture but thought I'd have a look here first. Over to Pookeyhead.
Yes, it's available on Steam. If I ever post a non-Steam route I'll probably say so at the outset. In fact, seeing as it's what everyone seems to need to know.. including me..I'll say either way from now on.
I was looking along WCMLS on the map to see if it was one of the stations on there but I can't see one like it! It is a lovely screenshot by the way, virtually photo quality. Is that with RW Enhancer? I keep looking at getting it.
That's because it's not from WCML South It IS from a WCML route though, and it is not north of Preston, and it IS a route available on Steam: Although this station is on the WCML, not all lines and platforms are for the WCML. That should narrow your choices a little. I'm practically giving it away here LOL I am using RW Enhancer Pro, and ReShade - using 6 shaders for selective colour adjustment, occlusion, anti-aliasing, HDR tone mapping and bloom control. I do also run with everything on max except water quality... which is one notch down from max because being on max seems to offer little advantage.. but has a noticeable frame rate hit. Not sure where my AA settings are... but again, I'll have turned them down until I start to see a negative effect.... then gone back a notch. That will vary depending on your screen res though, so my settings will not mean much to you unless you are also running at 2560x1600. The lower the res, the more you need AA. 1080p will need more AA than 4k to look as smooth for example.
