Hi everyone, I’d really like it if dtg allowed players to purchase a loco without having to buy the route . I know needing to have the route before getting a loco is one of the ways that dtg make money but for example I’d really like to be able to use the DB BR 182 but I’m not particularly keen on the rapid trainsit route so it’s annoying that I can’t get the 182. Who else would like this ?
Same! I really love the 182, but rapid transit isn't my cup of tea. I think its best to wait for the MRCE 182 that comes with Hamburg Lubeck, but I highly doubt if there are any passenger services, or at least passenger formations in the scenario planner.
I might not get Hamburg lubeck though so it’d be another opportunity to get the 182 that I’d have missed out on
The dB br 182 adds freight services to other routes, like MSB. If u had tsw 2020, then u should have rapid transit
Not everyone has TSW2020 and not everyone who has it has Rapid Transit, as it wasn’t in all of the base packs, only the PS4 version as I recall. And the 182 adds no services to MSB or any other routes, just the ability to substitute into the existing freight services, which is why some people want it. The desire to have a loco without having the route applies to other loco DLC too, so it would be a change for the better for some if that was the way things were done.
