Good Evening All, I've noticed could be a bug. A friend mentioned that Chatham & Medway is showing as 50% off on the in game store. But when going through to purchase it shows the full price? I've checked the dovetail store but it is showing as full there as well. Any Ideas? Thanks Connor
When I select view cart then checkout it takes me to the Steam Store and is full price. I tried it on a couple of routes and both are the same. As far as I know, there is no sale on at the moment. Perhaps DTG has forgotten to update the store page.
Yep, probably. They'd better sort it fast because at least worst somebody might accidentally buy something full price and at absolute worst this is a criminal offence. It's not the first time there have been mess-ups with the store though. Remember that time when a DLC's thumbnail was the photo of a foot? I do, sadly.
I noticed the error when looking at purchasing a couple of DMUs and assumed that DTG had, for whatever reason, not updated the store page. Fortunately the price difference was only a couple of quid or so but could be much worse if you were trigger happy in clicking the button to purchase. Usually I take the time to double-check the checkout price when I buy anything online.
Rule 1 - Don't purchase stuff in the Game. Use your Steam Client to select what you think you need and see what the price is And if you already have it the Steam Client will show that
As of now it's still there in the in-game store. I don't like to tag moderators but DTG Natster this seems quite important.
