When driving the 395 I expereinced several unexpected forced emergency stops which I've not experienced before. Of course they happened while I was streaming, but that does mean I have video :). Please take a look at which is just before when one of the instances of the emergency braking starts and let me know did I do something wrong or is this a bug or some weird interaction with Raildriver?

I believe its the AWS/TPWS grids on the floor. Just press the Train Stop Override button before going over that then it should resolve it.

It wasn't in a scenario - just the normal services.

That does seem to be the cause, but it shouldn't happen though I don't think.

If the signal is displaying a proceed aspect then the TPWS grid should not put you into emergency. I think it is a bug. A simular case to this is when arriving at Reading Platform 9. The TPWS ramp at the London End trips the train meaning you stop early and don't get a 500AP stop.

Thanks for the explanation, hopefully it'll get fixed in an update soon. While weird things happening is reality with trains, if you've been cruising for an hour its about the last thing you want.
