Is the Gcc just coming with the 1 loco , the 314 at release and then the 483 as a dlc later on ? As I’m not buying the 483 again because I have it on iow already

The 483 never ran on Cathcart Circle. It’s a tube stock train.

The route was announced yesterday. Nobody knows anything about what is or is not included besides a 314 in Scotrail announced yesterday. Given there could be six months between now and release this speculation is hardly constructive. And if you're not going to buy DLC which are like other DLC you might have then your TSW experience is going to be quite limited

483 is being made by Rivet, and they're making it for their own reasons.

True, watch around 20-30 from last nights stream and you will find out. (it is an older version and a different route)

    It's not being released again.

In some ways it's a completely different train. The 483 was used by a mainline rail company and as a result had modifications made to it.

The 1938 standard tube stock is the bear, raw original produced for London Transport.

Larkhall isn't path of the "Cathcart" network so to speak, I'd expect the Circle itself, Neilston and possibly Newton.

Does this route leave from Glasgow Central? Should be quite good, with some Scot Rail stock.

I hope this time Rivet Games get the sounds right on the 38 TS with compressor sounds and the clicking of the resistant bank as the train accelerates. Also hopefully the interior is period correct.

I really hope we dont have another disappointment by only getting the circle but that we actually get the lines out to Neilston & Newton also. Really pumped for a Scottish route at last, bit disappointed that its a suburban line but its nice to have a Scottish one

I know this is a bit of a stretch but what about the East Kilbride line? I mean... It does pass us at Pollockshields East and we do go over and under it 3 times. And we can stop at the amazingly named Crossmyloof!

This thread has been painful to read.

There is not, and has never been, a Class 483 on the roadmap as a loco DLC.

Oh, to answer the other part of the question, I fully expect the Class 314 to be the only train included with the Glasgow CC route. Another train will probably come as a DLC later, although I have no idea what that train will be.

It might come with just the 314, which is a copy of the 313 already in production for ECW. Or it might arrive with 2 more trains, we never know, but most likely it’ll just be one more train other than the 314 since DTG nowadays likes to put 2 trains max on every route and save others for dlc. What is the other train? I have the answer to this question:

No one knows yet, only DTG knows, and DTG refuses to tell us in the roadmap, so all we have left to do is speculate!

nah as the 314 will essentially be recycled, so there will be at least one new train e.g. 320/ 385/80

Btw, as time goes on, our speculations can either be correct or proven wrong, as DTG starts releasing more information about the route, either in the roadmap, streams, or announcement articles.

So the the Class 52 was announced for the Diesel Legends Pack when it was in development then when it moved up to upcoming we got an article announcing more locos eg. Class 101 etc so this could mean we might get an article when Glasgow Cathcart Circle (GCC) is in upcoming announcing more locos and info etc

I’d edit the quote you just made so you don’t get told off too. Even if he does edit it, the quote might still stay the original in your post. When quoting something like this you can edit the text inside the quote to censor it.

I am pretty sure that class 150's never ran on the TVL. As far as I can tell Heaton never had an allocation of them certainly not around the time the route is set, Neville Hill in Leeds had them but they didn't supply DMU's for the Darlington/Newcastle area locals. After the first generation DMU's class 142's and class 143's took over. I think class 153's also after they were introduced to the north east.

If both GCC and the br 313 are upcomning you would think dtg would have done more by now then keep us in the dark about any details.Heck rush hours futher away and we know more about it then these 2 by comparison.

Thank you for telling me about this and from what I can see DTG can probably make 1980s mu pack for BML possibly ECW if linked Class 455 Cathcart Circle Class 318 TVL Class 142/143 Pacers Class 153s.
Here's a Class 153 in the 1980s Regional Railways paint back is an East Midlands Train paint

If they do what they did with Hamburg Lubeck, it'll be: Preview - Preview - Release. Which might mean it'll come as soon as 11 June

We've never had 150s for the simple fact that they aren't cleared for some of the routes Heaton operates (namely the Durham Coast Line north of Sunderland, I think it's due to clearance with the Metro stations - the 950s have to run a reduced speed. Ironically the 150s are cleared for the Metro-Only branch to South Hylton. Either way, it'd be absolutely pointless. I'm not sure on 153s to be honest, never seen one round here that's for sure.

Branches almost certainly have to be included. The "circle" part of the route would only be like 6.5 miles of track. So unless DTG are planning on releasing a boring super short route that would in no way be worth $30, I'm going to assume branches will be included.

Heaton certainly had 153's in the 90's. They may have been used for more rural workings. I know Heaton provides or used to provide units for the Cumbrian coast so some of them may have been used there.
