I’m mostly a fan of German Trains, but have been enjoying SEH. After watching the stream last night, I definitely want to drive this one. Good job DTG

Also am impressed by the stream. Looks and sounds very good. If these high quality sounds can be added to other trains ( preserved or future releases) ,would make allot of people happy:)

Just watched the stream and oh wow, the sounds are absolutely gorgeous! Model of train is stunning as well, but I'm really into sounds on this one...it seems everything is there, the traction motors, the horn, the track joints and junctions (especially these - finally it doesn't sound like you're driving a shopping cart!), the in-cab levers, the flange squeals,... I'm rarely convinced to buy DLC on preview streams, but after this one, it's a must buy for me!

I watched the release stream last night,
is there a reason why the 465 doesn't go along all the available route?

It does, Matt said there was timetabled services in for it to go to Faversham, but they weren't showing up!

What do you mean by "available route"?
There are services to Faversham, but IRL the networks only run very limited services out that far, and only 395s and Eurostar run on HS1 so the 465 won't go past Gravesend Westbound because nothing past Springhead Junction is modelled

Well nothing except the Eurostar’s & 395 use HS1, and the commuter lines only go as far as Gravesend on SEHS, it doesn’t currently go upto Faversham however Matt did mention the services are there so it should, and that he will look into why they aren’t in the build.

I looked the other day and there were one or two AM/late night ECS moves to/from Faversham for stabling formed of 465’s.

    Yeah, Matt did mention yesterday
IRL there aren't that many runs in a day out there, but there will be some when the tech guys fix the timetable

In real-life (before Thameslink took over the Rainham services) the 465 would have run between Gravesend and Gillingham (starting at Charing Cross and Cannon Street). They also run some of the Victoria to Gillingham services and about one or two of the Victoria to Dover Priory services. It’s much more common to see a 375 on the Rainham to Faversham stretch.

This locomotive sounds impressive from the motor to going over junctions, this is definitely one of, if not the best sounding content to be released for TSW2. Mixed with the great visuals in the cab and the route this is on, really a great package that makes for a great experience!

Definitely one of their better productions, hopefully the Faversham services are added soon, I can see myself getting some serious mileage out of this one.

Edit: They are already here, just in the second consist option.

This EMU is not too different than Class 166 (same family), 377 and 375 (different family but pretty similar set up).
So you can get as referer GWE Class 166, ECW Class 377 or SEHS Class 375 manuals.

The only major difference I can think of is the regenerative braking option. That was covered in the stream last week - it has nice audio!

I could be wrong about this but isn’t the sheerness line operated by 466 not 465?

Did the training module and a Rainham service last night, first impressions are, well just wow. Model and sounds are amazing, even the mechanical sounds of the power handle and door controls are a nice touch (AP sounds for the win).

Only gripes are the seat position so I have to angle the camera down as if my character has a chronic neck problem and being unable to change the displays. Other than that this is going to be a joy to keep going back to and drive. Cheers DTG!

The only issues I have are the seating position seems a bit too high and no gangway connection or coupling in the centre of the unit. There seems to be a consist formation bug with this.
    Sounds are tip top.

Hello, The only issue I've been having is that I prefer to spawn on foot than in cab and there hasn't been that many services with the Class 465 that are around it's usually the Class 375 only. It would be nice if it was a bit more balanced working of the units.

With regards to the coupling, are you getting this issue on a 4 car or 8 car 465?

8 car 465’s are just two 4 car units put together, they don’t have cab end gangways.

There are no such things as 8 car 465 units. All 465s are 4 cars so any 8 car consists are 2 x 465s joined together
IRL you would also have 466s in the mix (2 car units) so can make 4,6,8,10,12 car consists

4 car, it's clearly a bug. There is an open door way in the centre of the set, no gangway surrounds just empty space and 4 cables.

    You can see it here.
It's a consist error like the Tallent 2 has on SKA when running East bound only.
