So I was browsing steam scenarios and it said I needed DLC to use it. I had all the DLC except a route called the "Portland Terminal". I had a bit of money and decided the scenario looked fun enough to buy the route. I went to the store.. and.. it isn't there. I searched online. 1 imagine of a steam store thumbnail and a fandom page. LINK HERE: railworks.fandom.com/wiki/Portland_Terminal What happened to it..?
The route was pulled in 2015, what I think was licensing issue, but I'm not 100& sure. G-Trax has since reworked the route and has re-released it as Freeware on Railworks America as Maine Maritime Switching Route. http://railworksamerica.com/index.p...ime-switching-route&catid=20:route-collection
Wasn't it the GP40 that was added? Either way, yes, it's the same route, just different included content because the SD40-2 is a DTG property and was not able to be kept in to make the route free for anyone who missed it.
Not what I read on the Wiki, which says the GP40s came with the route originally. Its just the SD40 scenarios got replaced by the GP40 on the re-released route.
"The route comes with 3 GP40s, one in Maine Central livery, one in Guilford Transportation Industries livery, and one in Pan Am railways livery. Two other locos are an SD40 in Pan Am livery, and an E7 in Boston and Maine livery." So I guess those GP40s are still included, but it seems there were two SD40s. Unless those are the DLC items that are still there, one of which advertises routes for Portland Terminal, coincidentally (I wonder if the official scenarios would work on Maine Maritime LOL).
