Now in Tampa, Florida USA but originally from Long Island, NY. As a result, I have a special fondness/hatred of the Long Island Rail Road
Thank you guys, for continue writing on this thread I created, in order to know from where are the members of this great community from!
I visited Barcelona in 2014 for one and a half week.. Really beautiful city! About trains I went to the Barcelona Sants, the city metro, and I travel from Lleida main station to a town near the Pirineos, on a special diesel train on a touristic ride. Very nice!
Indianapolis, Indiana USA. We have no trains of interest, but lucky for me it's not too far (180 miles) to Chicago, Illinois which is the railroad capitol of the entire country!
Country: The Netherlands Province: Friesland / Fryslân Village: Makkum Born in Amsterdam, but moved to the countryside in 2018.
I’m from America, the city of LA to be exact.Too bad there’s really no support for TSW routes in the western US since a lot of train fans live and railfan here, but it’s understandable since the pandemic and travel restrictions prevents research for these routes.
It's the same here in Canada there only one represented route in TSW2, hoping things can get better and allow for travel and research of routes.
Much of the research for routes in Western Canada and the US was done for TSxxx, but it was largely done by 3rd parties, who may not be working with UE4.
Doesn't help that half of the Class 1 freight traffic out here is BNSF, and that commuter rails Metrolink and Coaster might not lend their license to Dovetail for TSW2 (They didn't for TS20XX).
Yea that is another major issue, so I guess UP is the only western US freight railroad they can do, idk about class IIs like MRL, but options are limited for western US routes.
Thank you guys for continuing including your comments on this thread I created. It is interesting to know where the community members lives. Yes I am also interesting on more USA routes, as I have mentioned on several threads. There is a UP coming, but it is still expected how it does look like? It is not one of the requested and it is not even a known and famous one, but let's see. It is also developed by third party, so may be we can have some different route features.
Yep, that could happen as well, if the creator of this thread wouldn’t mind creating a poll, albeit a little too late.
Hi, thanks about the idea of the pool. But as was mentioned by other members, it will there will be not enough options. My idea was to know from what part of the world there are members here. How many by country? I believe it is not necessary, as it is clear most of them are from UK and USA. This was what I expected too. May be if you want, you could do a poll just for these 2 countries.
From Novato, California but currently live in Naperville, Illinois. I would much rather live in London though.
it could be what region are you from, and options could be: Southern Europe Indian Subcontinent and so on, and there could be some options like US UK for the big countries.
Slough, about 100 yards from the GWML. My daily commute (when not locked down) takes me on both the Great Western Express and Bakerloo Line routes.
Leeds, UK (yes, the Leeds in West Yorkshire) Closest in-game route: Northern Trans-Pennine Currently less than a mile away from the railway.
I live in Florida now, I’m originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Pittsburgh was a railroad Mecca, of all the cities I’ve been to in the US it had some of the most busy freight railroads I’ve seen. It also has many small industrial railroads that fuel the Steel Mills. My Grandmother had North Bessemer rail yard behind her house where the Bessemer and Lake Erie would hand off ore to the Union RR to take to the steel mills of Pittsburgh. It was a great place to grow up. It seems most of the folks that play the game are form Europe? I’m happy to answer any and all questions I can about railroading/railfanning in the US if I’m able too. I’ve had the privilege of being able to travel to Europe several times and have really enjoyed seeing the trains and museums over there!
I could say where I'm from, but Ill let Dave Drui explain the town.... What the same area looks like today (More specifically March 20th 2021)
Easton, PA area the United States Originally Manila Philippines. THE Closest TSW route for me is NEC New York and a future DLC the Raritan Valley Line. Wish that in the future Dovetail Games or Asia Pacific Partner Union Workshop can do the Manila MRT Network.
Thank you guys, for continuing posting here! It is is interesting to know what countries / cities in the world are included in this great community!
