Today, I am suggesting Greater Anglia for TSW 2. Most of the Information can be found in this video: This route would see Greater Anglia running from London Liverpool St to Cambridge North with spurs to Stansted Airport, Chingford, Stratford, and Enfield Town, via the Lea Valley Line. Greater Anglia also runs a subbrand called the Stansted Express, running from Liverpool St to Stansted Airport. This route would also include the London Overground. The Overground would run from Liverpool St to Enfield Town, Cheshunt, and Chingford. Rolling Stock The London Overground would use the Class 710/1 If the route is set in Early 2020, the Class 315 could also be added to this route to give the Overground a better variety in its rolling stock. Greater Anglia would use the Class 379 and 317. What do you think about this route for TSW 2?
Nice suggestion, but it would be better if they did this route when the 317/379,’s were being replaced by the 745/1 and when all the LO PEP’s were stepped down
I'm pretty sure you could have both routes created at some point. Liverpool Street to Ipswich inc Felixstowe branch line would be the first as you'd get a lot more freight on that side of the GA network, as it's one of the major arteries to the Port of Felixstowe. Then you could add the WAGN side of the network, well it's not called WAGN anymore, but West Anglia, as this is 99% passenger services.
I like this idea especially the London Overground Lea Valley Line. The more british communter routes the better
Hi, I'm Sygrider from your reddit post - I signed up here to support this idea I'm just going to repost what I said on reddit for people on the forums to see This is pushing DTG's boundaries for a TSW2 route however this would probably be one of my favourite routes so far in TSW2 so far. I support this route if DTG are willing to make a route like this though. Honestly this is one of my favourite areas in London for trains, and the variety is amazing ( I know its terrible writing)
Yeah, it definitely would be pushing TSW's boundaries, but this route is just so interesting that I feel like it wouldn't feel right if the route was cut off at a certain point, or if some things (Like the Overground) were excluded.
To be realistic i recon they will make overground its own route, and i would you like another 'incomplete' route which you have in the past complained about? Just some food for thought
This is good they need Class 755 Electro Diesel trains permits the direct Lowestoft London Liverpool Street Station Service. This Video by Geoff Marshall shows what the interior of those trains look like.
I think it would be included because it would add more variety to the route, and please fans of the Overground, therefore increasing sales. And no, I would not like another 'incomplete' route.
