No Class 465 AI appears in timetable/on foot mode. Matt said they would look into it on last weeks stream. I can’t see it anywhere except for the one I’m driving. Other then that DTG have done a great job on the 465. It looks and sounds amazing and I've been driving it a lot today. DTG please get this fixed as soon as possible, I don't mind having to update the game twice in a week.
Yes I get this too. Absolutely disgraceful. Don't know how they can release it like this. Train itself is great but if I'm paying £12 I at least want to see a few coming the other way. I'm livid! And there are two to choose from. One with 51 services and the other with 85. What's all that about. They better have damn good reason for this. Absolutely joke!
They can never bring anything correct out. Vintage DTG The Class 375 need to be removed from this Services who own the 465 DLC TrainSim-Matt
No wonder they have not put it on sale early this time due to people getting their hands on SEHS early last time, they don't want people to see their rushed work. I know QA get blamed a lot but how do these things get into a release build? even being highlighted in the stream last week no news on a fix for this. At least with no early sale gives me the option to wait for news on fixes before I think about purchasing it.
Don’t forget, the 465 no longer runs on this route in real life as it was replaced by the 375 and 700 class trains. Maybe it is intentional that AI 465’s are rare to see?
Can someone do me a favour and spawn on foot, play the game for a while and tell me whether you see any AI 465's. Thanks
I spawned on foot at 05:35 at Gillingham. The Charing X one was a 375/9 and the one from Gillingham depot to Gillingham was a 475/9 Images below.
BREAKING NEWS: I did find ONE Class 465 when on foot at Gillingham Depot. Still, I paid to see it do all the Rainham-Gravesend Services and 375s seem to be doing ALL of them at the moment
This is to give you the choice if you want to drive a 4-car or 8-car formation. This is not a joke, but a nice feature that gives YOU the choice of what you drive, rather than a random selection. If it wasn't there, you'd be probably ranting about that very option missing
I don't think the 465s are completely missing as AI services but they are very very rare. I didn't see one on the three services I've driven on since I bought the add on.
On Xbox series x I noticed when driving the 395 a 465 was parked up at gillingham station and when operating the 465 other 465’s passed mine between gillingham and rainham
The only 465 AI I was able to find was in Gillingham Depot at 4:50am. Apart from that, I've not seen a single one in 2hrs of rush hour services between Gravesend and Rainham.
I drove a 465 from rochester to gillingham getting there at 8.48am then shortly after that a 8 car showed up at 8.50 for rainham. BUT then i drove the 8 car i seen from gravesend to rainham. When i got to gillingham, the 465 service i previously drove was a 375 at gillingham but technically it showed have been a 465. So something defo not right at all likes. Since the train came out on xbox i had only seen this 1 ai train. So as i said there is defo an issue which matt is aware of. When we get the update, we shall see.
That's not how substitution works. You have X service, and for that service there is a certain chance of the loco DLC spawning instead of the "default" one. For example, if you own the BR155 it will have a chance to spawn in place of the "default" BR185 in MSB, RRO and HRR, but it will not replace the default loco. I'm guessing they can modify the chance of X DLC spawning instead of the default train, you can see it with the BR182 and 155, where the 182 very rarely spawns on german freight trains, but the 155 feels like it has almost a 50/50 chance I would assume they set the spawn rate for the 465 really low, because nowadays it is a rare sight IRL on that line, most of the services which are operated by the 465 in game are operated by Thameslink (w/ class 700) and 375 is much more common on the actual SE services. I would say the best solution would be to have a 100% chance for the 465 to spawn on the IRL Thameslink service (the stock is wrong either way so...) but leave the really low chance for the SE service. Although I am not sure if this differentiation is possible
Whilst I agree with the 465 being rare is in the real world correct, for a paid DLC I expect to see it more often. I expected when told that the 465 would replace london Vic - Gillingham and Charing X - Rainham services, that it would replace ALL of them. That to me would make sense as you would get use out of the 465 but also still see the 375 on Ramsgate/Dover Priory services.
Personally I feel like they should be put on ALL Rainham to Charing Cross service and randomly put on Gillingham to Victoria services. Because you would never see a 375 stop at higham but the 465 did before Thameslink took over the services.
