Class 465 Not Replacing Class 375 Services?

Slightly confused to this because I own the 465 and on the stream for it Matt said that the 465 would replace the Rainham and Gillingham services. Upon loading one of these up, I get a 375 most of the time. Any ideas why?

 

It rarely substitutes the 375. I've seen it once on an AI service when doing a service in journey mode I thought. If you are entering in free roam then you are probably getting a 375 most of the time.

 

There are 200+ passenger services on this route.

81 are selectable for the 465.

I think of the 81 only a handful are done by AI in the game world as there's a significantly lower number of 465s compared to 375s.

You'll see the AI driving the occasional 465, and I'm sure it will be tweaked when they add the pink 395.

 

Matt said to sam on last nights stream that it was a bug that there was no 465 ai trains. So they do know about it

 

Thanks for the info! Good to know and hopefully an easy fix since maybe it's just a too low possibility value that needs to be changed (or something like that).

However I find it sad that this is communicated once again only in a stream and not on the official forums where the issue is raised... that makes them somewhere obsolete. I notice this happening more often recently, for example I still haven't seen any official response to the winter leaves topics yet.

It would be nice if those 5 minutes for a short response were invested more often...

Do any of the services call at Newington and the other smaller stations?

Can you point me at one? I’ve looked and can’t see them. Not having the station names on the map on the selection page makes it a little difficult. Thanks

 

I was stationed for about 4 hours at Rochester station. Every 10 minutes from 2 to 4 trains arrived. More than 50 Class 375s (and about 15~20 Javelins). But 0 Class 465.
I know well that in real life the 465s along the route are not many.
But meeting 50 Class 375 and zero Class 465 seems a bit excessive to me, even for the purposes of mere gameplay.

 

I cant give specifics but i have done 375 services that sometimes stop at newington. Not always. Sorry

 

Wow what a differance. Hope it gets fixed properly. I was expecting to see loads of differant trains when i got the 465 but i see none.

 

This is a known issue across all platforms and not just pc which will hopefully be fixed soon
