Here's a separate thread for non-British cabs, split off from the original thread for British only:

    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/name-that-cab.35100/

ETA- to keep this alive, the scope have been broadened to a general "Name that Train" (international edition) - so any part of a train (cab or loco - not obscure freight wagons, etc!).

AEM-7 I believe, that poor cab texture is a dead giveaway.

    Correct - your turn.
I always thought the view was quite poor

Those cab textures are absolutely abysmal, I'm glad I don't drive that train regularly.

It is quite an old model from 2012 and having ridden on trains pulled by AEM7s I like them apart from the awful speedo box - which is correct http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=50451

Ok, I think they share the same cab so that's why I wasn't sure.

So there are 3 locos equipped with this device, however, the one in the shot is the only one modeled as such (The other 2 are not as defined).

I had to double check but apparently the SDP40F also had it and was modeled the same way as the one in the photo, oops. But the loco in the photo was an SD45T-2.

I probably should have known, I own the SD45T-2! It just looks really similar to the SDP40F, which I drive more.

I'm interested, but I can't provide screenshots because I rarely have access to TS21 (I have two PC's).

I don't think so - almost 4 weeks since the last post and not much interest then

I'll try to do one now to rekindle interest - in fact, let's make this a combined "International Name the Cab/Train". Will try to edit the OP to make that clear.

Hmm, I've been able to edit the original post, but not the title - is that not possible here?
