Cologne - Koblenz is one of my favorite routes in TS2021. It would be very cool to see it in TSW2. The route is 96km long and it goes trough beautiful German landscape and historic towns and cities. The route is operated by many passenger and freight services.

Rolling stock used in this route would be:
    -DB BR 146 with Doppelstockwagen.
    -DB BR 425
-DB BR 101 with IC wagons
    -DB BR 155

Ah yes, I have fond memories of this route. It was the first route I had when starting my Train Simulator hobby. It's a beautiful route. Would love to see it ingame, even though we already have several modern German routes in TSW.

It'd be nice. I drove that route in TS quite a lot to be honest. I'd love to have it in the game, at least Cologne-Bonn if i'm honest.

Or maybe a little bit older stock like the n-Wagen - wouldn't that be aswesome? The only german german passenger coaches we have are the Dostos. Would be nice to have some one-level-coaches. Maybe with the 110, the 141 or the 111 instead.

For the freight trains why not add in DB BR189 some have C-Akv Couplers for Iron Ore Trains since they use this line to reach Dillengen from Köln. Doing a bit of Self-promotion here they also belong to Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway

AIUI DB no longer operates the West Rhine RE services - they are now done by National Express under the RRX brand as part of Nordrhein Westfalen's upgrade to regional services.

They now use these instead of 146+Dosto

But i don't think that it is possible at the moment to gather enough research info about the Desiro HC. Sure, there are many photos of it (even I could provide some good pics and get some more, DTG), but there is hardly any chance at the moment to do in cab tours for DTG and to get the sounds and stuf.. Although I'd love to see the Desiro HC, it isn't very likely. But this widens the chance for some older rolling stock though :)

This will be a good scenic route to play one of those trains is DB BR 189 with C-Akv Couplers with Faals Ore Wagons. These trains usually go up this way in order to reach the Dutch German border at Emmerich. Scenario for it could be called Iron Rhine. Also appear on time table mode these appear in double formation like the Main Spessart Bahn DB86108 service BR185. These are double formation BR189s
