PC Passenger Lights Visible At The Roof

Please fix the coach lights in the 101 roof as they are visible from outside. This is working well in the NTP route 101 and not in the TV route nor the blue legends pack. The effect is horrible.

Same happens on the MK1 coaches which are also visible from outside (fixed in NTP route but not fixed in WSR route).

Same problem with the Dostos on German routes

 

Yeap. In some wagons the lights are working well (like MK2s). But in these ones... Disco-train!

Need to install a mirror ball. Hey, it's the 70s!

 

Same situation with MK2 coaches. There you still have the issue but at least the roof lights are not so extreme, so in those coaches at least it was somehow tweaked.

Great shout. I hope this issue gets picked up and resolved by the preservation team soon.

I also notice that AI 101's on TVL don't turn on passenger lights at night, which breaks immersion.

 

This seems to be a large (core?) issue. SKA‘s Talent 2 suffers from this problem as well. Its passenger lights shine through the side walls.

 

Also the double deck coaches on MSB

 

Interestingly, it’s only passenger coaches, loco cab lighting doesn’t seem to suffer the issue.

 

Just out of interest...in snow does it do it as well?

 

This issue is also on consoles and its also on the DB BR 442, Dostos.

 

Yep, it looks sometimes very odd.

 

Talent 2 trains in Cologne also shine through. He would like to put thicker plates on those trains.

 

And if you fly closer to the black stripes, it moves. It looks sometimes like a butterfly
