I am playing TSW 2 on a base Ps4 and over the last week I have noticed severe lags in game performance and very slow frame-rates and game freeze-ups (3-4 seconds at a time) on Peninsula Corridor in the vicinity of the terminating stations at San Jose and San Francisco. The game also now lags and frame rates slow down considerably but not as severely along the route between the 2 stations when AI trains pass by. However, at the 2 stations mentioned, the lags and frame-rate slowdown are so severe that the game is very negatively affected. These lags and slowdowns also occur when using external camera mode trying to pan around San Jose and San Francisco stations. It seems like the higher level of detail and AI traffic at these stations are now causing the game to slow down severely where in the past, I haven't noticed a problem. I hadn't played Peninsula Corridor for about a month until the past week. Has anyone had similar experiences recently? Perhaps this is related to a recent game update?

    Thanks!

I have experienced similar on Xbox after one of the more recent updates to "improve optimization". In addition to some more lag, it seems the overhead highway bridges aren't drawn until the user is quite close to them. I recall approaching San Bruno from the south and thinking something was missing, and then the bridges finally popped in, much later than they did pre-update.
