Hello railfans! I enjoy watching train cab ride videos and I'm sure there's many of you here who do the same. There's quite a collection of these to be found, so I thought it would be nice to see your favourite or maybe an interesting/out-of-the ordinary cab ride videos. To start, I present to you Lagos to Ibadan train cab ride. This line is part of a railway connecting the cities of Lagos and Kano in Nigeria and is currently under construction. Since I live in Europe I'm always fascinated by trains from distant countries and how certain aspects of culture and life can be seen along the tracks. Cheers!
This one is for sure my favorite It's a Dutch driver that has its normal service from Enschede to Deventer, but he had to take an extra stop at Wierden because of crazy people in the International train from Berlin to Amsterdam, they have shot all windows in the train. Everything starts around 23:35.
Pentrex's At the Throttle series is a decently good one for me, with good cab rides and interesting views around the Los Angeles, San Diego and Cajon Pass areas. (Obviously cant post the actual videos, only the preview)
Nice, I will check it out! I always loved Dutch railways so would love to see a route represented in this game! This looks interesting! Thanks for the suggestion!
For German routes, this guy´s videos are quite magnificient... Trailer with some highlights A merger of RRO and RSN would look like this:
I often watch cab ride videos while using the exercise bike. There's a chap called Don Coffey (I think he's a RL driver) who has done a series of clips mostly in NW England, very high standard. Now this is one I've been watching recently, the first hour or so is a bit flat and fast but once the railcar reverses things get more interesting. Not much motor sound and the train has an annoying wheelflat, but I found it very interesting to watch...
