I don't mind losing my driver profile, but want to know how the trophies earned for TSW2 on PS4 will be reflected when starting a new game on PS5? Will they still show as having been earned?
Yep it’s just the one trophy set regardless of ps4 or ps5 so you won’t have to earn again. well the game have three sets but the above should make sense
Im not sure if it works from PS4 to PS5 but you can also copy your TSW2 progress and port it to your PS5, you only need to copy and port it over on the same account or this don't work!
Indeed USB or PSPLUS can be used. Of course we are assuming same PSN profile, why would anyone create a different PSN account for the new console? Tax evasion?
My TSW game updates no matter which console I am using as cloud saves are enabled. I can switch between PS5 and PS4 seemlessly. No need to create new profiles etc as everything can be transferred (as stated above in other posts).
as TSW2 is a PS4 game still at this point in time, think of it as moving from one PS4 to another (albeit a very high powered one). Your save just transfers across. If/when a next gen version is released and we can effectively upgrade, that may be different however I'm hoping its as simple as a popup saying "we detected a local PS4 save for this game, do you want to use this with the PS5 version?" I say this because if you look on the settings of the PS5 there is a save area for PS4 games and a separate save area for PS5 native titles
As long as you're signed into PSN and have automatic synchronisation of trophies enabled on your account, they will be universal across both platforms. Hell, you can even look at your trophies on the PS3 if you wanted to!
