Pzb Stops At Clear Signal

I just got the route that runs out of Wupertal but the PZB is stopping the train at every signal, even if I acknowledge it and/or the signal is clear (green & white aspects shown). I have not exceeded 30 KM/H and it still happens at every magnet. How do I stop this from happening?

Was it a freight run? Some freight services out of Wuppertal use a rail that is actually used in the other direction. There is a white board to the left that functions as a signal and since you are technically going the wrong way, you need to press the pzb Befehl button while going over it if I remember correctly.

It is correct that staying under 45 kmh when the pzb lights flash alternating should not trigger an emergency stop.
What could be the case here is the following:
If PZB stops you while under the before mentioned 45 kmh speed check, the system will enforce a reduced speed check of 25 kmh. Maybe that was the case and made you stop at 30kmh?

RRO has "reduced signals" installed. What that means is that the wrong track is not equipped with full light signals but just with boards that always represent a caution / danger aspect.
    Distant Signal:

The distant signal is represented by the Ne 2 (distant signal plate). The plate alone aswell as dark signal with this plate have to be interpreted as Caution / Expect Stop. These are equipped with an always active 1000Hz PZB magnet.
    Main Signal:

This Ne 1 (Trapezoid Plate) replaces the main signal. It is to be interpreted as a signal at Danger / Stop. It is equipped with an always active 2000Hz magnet. When you've stopped in front of this plate contact the signalman. You'll get clearance to pass this plate. When doing so press and hold the "Befehl 40" button on the PZB controls (Delete on the keyboard) to prevent an emergency brake when passing the 2000Hz magnet. Do not exceed 40km/h. After the "Befehl 40" light illuminates on the display you can release the button and continue on normally with line speed.

I am now on a run going in to Wuppertal on the 422/423 on mode O and it doing it again, this time there are no signs or even any magnets on either side but it triggers once and then again if I pass 20 KM/H.

Could you share a video of it happening or at least give us a service number?

How long into the run was that? Right at the start you are limited to 45 when you start the service. You can free yourself from that restriction with the "pzb free" button.

It's at the end on a timetabled run coming in to Wuppertal, the PZB free button does not do anything at this point.

A brake application around 25km/h sounds like a violated restrictive 500Hz surveillance. If you approach a danger aspect you first run through a 1000Hz surveillance followed by a 500Hz surveillance. If your speed drops below 10km/h inside this surveillance you enter restrictive mode (70 / 85 flashing and 500Hz red light). In restrictive mode, you are not allowed to exceed 25km/h. You cannot interrupt this surveillance manually. When the 500Hz surveillance ends you are still in restrictive mode (max. 45km/h). If the signal does not show an aspect that has to be acknowledged you can free yourself from the restrictive mode.

RRO has a few bugs with this. This could be one of them. The neighborhood is right :)
