Hi, I tried this scenario after the March update but I could not tell you if its really new or not. I tried to play BAY AREA BREAKDOWN on CalTrain and got stuck on a beam of light and could not move. Paul
Yeah, this is new. I completed "Bay Area Breakdown" a while ago without any problems. It seems you are now trapped behind an invisible wall. If you go backwards towards the red door you can move in all directions, but as soon as you want to get to the train and reach the end of the handrail you are stuck and nothing works anymore.
I completed this scenario yesterday. If you run to the left and forward right as you load in you can escape the bug. Any other direction and you will be trapped, and if you're not fast enough then you'll be trapped.
It took two attempts, but it worked. The second try I could tell my character was getting pushed to the left even a bit more, like I was just sliding by the invisible wall.
TrainSim-Adam this morning (well last evening for you) you mentioned that you were unable to reproduce the invisible wall problem on Caltrain. Its actually easy to reproduce, it happens every single time playing Bay Area Breakdown. I've just reconfirmed it on the latest version publicly available. Please watch the video at the head of this post. Steps to reproduce: Start Bay Area Breakdown scenario on Peninsula Corridor Try and walk forwards - you will get stuck Once you are stuck there is no way out of it. Its possible to avoid it by walking backwards first, moving left then walking forwards. It seems to be the scenario deliberately trying to constrain you to go to the train on the correct platform.
Morning All, Thanks for all the feedback. Testing this on live copies of TSW2 I have been able to recreate the issue. Testing again on the 4.26 upgraded versions I cannot reproduce the issue. So it looks like it has been captured as part of the coming Rush Hour update and the Preservation Team can tick it off the target list.
