I played a nighttime winter clear service on the Arosalinie and I noticed there were no stars in the sky. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed that in any other route in TSW2. It certainly stood out as being odd. Has anyone else noticed this and is it a bug confined to this route? Has anyone seen it elsewhere?
Yes, no stars on some winter services on PC, clear, cloudy or snow. The Moon is there, though, so all is not lost. I recall that you've had problems with heavenly objects in the past, have you not?
The moon is incredibly bright too, casting unreal amounts of light, which isn’t a huge problem unless it means it is hurtling towards Switzerland at great speed. I had a big issue with the sun being missing in TSW2, which was rectified, so life can be restored to all those who depend on it for warmth, photosynthesis and the food chain, as well as maximum enjoyment driving towards it, like is my favourite thing to do in TSW. I would also like the stars in the sky, not for navigation as the tracks take care of that, but just because they look great, and it’s comforting to know they are there. They complete the scene, like the sun does, and add much to what has come to be known as immersion. You know when you know something’s not quite right and then you spot what it is and it bugs you. It’s maybe not as obvious as the mountains, or the biggest issue with the route at the moment, but I felt that if anyone was going to bring it up, it would be me.
