I am suggesting the ge 8/12 loco for the Arosalinie in train sim world 2 . This loco runs the full length of the route (26KM) , and would also complete depot moves . This loco was also developed in TS , so if it was developed for TSW2 I would expect it to be as realistic as the TS one is . So here are a few photos of the loco :
I would also like to see this train added to the Arosa Line Route. I've recently made a Suggestion video for all of the people not on the forums to gain wider support for this suggestion. There's a fair bit of information in this suggestion video, that explains a bit about the train, and why it should be added. IRL, on the current Arosa Line, you will mostly see the Allegra. The GE 4/4 ii was retired in the Summer of 2010, so those don't actually run on the line anymore. Personally, I don't really like the GE 4/4 ii, as I am more of a fan of newer Trains, with more modern features.
I agree that this allegra should come. What baffles my mind is that the Arosa line is set in 2015 yet in 2010 the ge 4/4 were retired and no longer ran on the rouye so basically a inaccurate train for the time period was added. I personally think the allegra should have been the train that should have been the one that came with arosa especially when many kept asking for the Allegra to be in Arosa when it was being shown off. I would probably have gotten arosa if it did. If the Allegra comes and if the scenery is fixed, I would buy Arosa but as of now I won't be getting it
Agreed , I think what rivet games should’ve done was release the arosa line with the Allegra , then released the ge 4/4 , so it would be a bit like the diesel legends
That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Rivet seems to be on a old school train streak because alot of the trains they release are old trains. I would like to see rivet make a modern train. I think since this route didn't come with the allegra, it hurt sales (along with the terrible distant scenery)
These are completely different things. A: 3rd Party (RvG) develops for 1st Party (DTG) [e.g. the 204 - at this point there was no Rivet-route in existance to develop something for that] B: 1st Party develops for 3rd Party - seems highly unlikely to me. Why should they do that? DTG has their own routes that could be sold again if it get's a new loco DLC (e.g. the 101 for HRR) So maybe i missunderstood you, but to me your point seems to be without any further point.
This needs to be done and furthermore if another classic train Sim 21 Rhb routes the Abula and Berina Lines come to train Sim world then you can play this train on to those routes just like how it is in real life. Speaking of ABe 8/12 Allegra it can also carry passenger coaches. Video is by TrainJJ of the ABe 8/12 Allegra with Ge 4/4 II coaches . the train in timetable mode one of those can be mixed Goods service the other version is like the train in the video having passenger coaches at the back
I'm quite sure the Allegra will apear soon on the next roadmap. I think in the next Roadmap Rivet announces their next route and i guess it will be again RhB together with the Allegra. Let's see on the next rm.
The Ge 4/4 II's were not retired in 2010 - Here's one on Arosa in 2019 https://www.flickr.com/photos/11782...9JnWjm-29GuHgW-L98fvX-28nX3Nd-2bzN1p5-29DQfD3
