Sorry if it looks like I’m trying to bump this thread up , but I’m not , I just wanted to say that it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I first had this issue and every service I’ve attempted has had this issue

Okay, I see from the video what has happened. It looks like you have inadvertently held down the button for contacting the dispatcher and this makes signals turn red. It’s a general bug with TSW2 that occurs when the dispatcher isn’t expecting to be contacted and it gets confused. This can happen if you are meaning to press the button briefly to acknowledge an alerter or similar but hold it down too long, or if you just accidentally hold down the button when pressing something else or are holding your controller with a death grip.

Doing this may not always turn the very next signal red like in your video, it could change any random signal red that you then come across later and you will never get past it, and it doesn’t always cause an issue. I believe you have had red signal issues more than once so if it is that just be careful not to hold down the ‘contact dispatcher’ button and it may solve your issues.

I’m going off what I see in the video. The signal was green and then turned red at the same time as the contact dispatcher response comes up on the screen. As that’s exactly what happens when you press to contact the dispatcher when it’s not needed (like when a signal is already green) and as nobody else is having the issue, you must have (either on purpose or accidentally) contacted the dispatcher.

If you were to do this a long way from the signal you would potentially eventually come up on a red signal later, which is probably what’s happened on the other run. It could be something different in that case but that’s what’s happened here and it is fairly easy to inadvertently press and hold the offending button on the controller and not know you are doing it, or hold it down too long when acknowledging a safety device. You will know you’ve done it when the dispatcher reply comes up but if you don’t notice that coming up or forget you have done it a few minutes later then a red signal would seem unconnected.

I don’t think I ever contacted the signaller on the second journey
