I saw a very rough version of this suggestion posted in a thread and thought I'd expand, as it's a route I know well and think one of the prettiest in Europe. Czech routes are also served by the Pohled z Vlaku website (https://pohledzvlaku.cz/) which makes previewing journeys there very easy.

Trat' 171: Praha hl. nádraží - Beroun

    trat171.png

    Route length
    : 43km
    Journey time: c.0:50
Full route cab video with selectable viewpoints: https://pohledzvlaku.cz/?trat=praha-hl-nadrazi-beroun. This link has in-depth route information such as distances, braking points and signals, and is an excellent resource for anyone wishing to recreate this route.

Route overview: We begin at Prague's main station, a mother of transportation hubs that somehow has never been represented in a commercial train sim. Heading under Vyšehrad hill, we cross the Vltava river with great views of many of the city's famous sights - Charles Bridge, the castle and the banks of the river. We then head south to the city's second station, Smíchov, formerly Prague West, where the equally pretty, unelectrified 'Prague Semmering' terminates. Next we head through the suburbs of the city, following the river Berounka as we go and passing the imposing hippodrome to our left. It's at this point that the natural scenery begins to impose, with steep cliff-faces just to the side of the double-track. Moving deeper into Central Bohemia, it's not long before we'll notice King Charles' 14th century Karlštejn Castle looking down on us from a high point, just before we pull into the village's pretty wooden-beam station, where in summer most of our passengers will be getting off. We will carry on through a couple more small villages, cutting through a stunning stone quarry in the region's Little America, before turning into the commuter town of Beroun. The longer version of the route, also named Berounka, will continue on to Plzen and Klatovy but this is where our shorter, commuter route terminates. Pictures of the route can be found here https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Železniční_trať_Praha–Plzeň
    Stops: Praha hlavní nádraží - Praha-Smíchov - Praha-Chuchle - Praha-Radotín - Černošice - Černošice-Mokropsy - Všenory - Dobřichovice - Řevnice - Zadní Třebaň - Karlštejn - Srbsko - BEROUN

    Route speed
    : Max 100km/h
    Power: 3kV catenary
Rolling stock/Locos: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ČD_Class_471 - CityElefant. Czech Railways' bespoke double-decker train, with a unit consisting of three cars - a power car, a passenger car and a cab car at the rear.
Also working on this track section are the full intercity services, consisting of a CD362 locomotive pulling a consist of one ABpee 347 passenger car, one Bbdgmee236, and usually three Bmz 235s. Information on all passenger cars can be found here - https://www.cd.cz/en/nase-vlaky/rychlik/abpee/-27527/
Finally, you'll see occasional DMUs working this line in the form of refurbished DB628.2 units (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DB_Class_628), sometimes in Arriva livery but rarely in the original DB colours, quite unusual in central Bohemia.

I think this is not a likely contender for TSW, as the Czech market is quite small, but as I saw someone mention it I thought I'd give it the preview it deserved. At worst I've hopefully given some people a new cab video resource to explore!

Same as I've mentioned in an older suggestion of this route - this probably should be made longer and reach Plzeň, the route gets faster after Beroun, features an AC/DC change and currently the longest tunnel in the country.

I don't think the Czech market would remain small if a good Czech route is made, that features unique locos and fun gameplay, and this could be a good candidate for that. Seeing more countries from Europe would really be fun, and I've always liked Czech paint schemes (the ones from Monder's suggestion are even better just because of the large amount of variation in them ;)).

The reason I suggest only the Beroun portion is that the length seems more realistic in terms of what can be replicated on TSW. Of course, longer would be nicer but I think suggesting a route in a new country that's longer than a couple of existing lines out together would take this from unlikely to impossible.

Any Czech route has to come with an unmodified Class 749 diesel, sound like a cross between a Sulzer Type 2 and a Class 40. And those quirky Class 810 single car diesel units!
