Apart from the 506 in Woodhead in Blue, I can’t think of any other 5xx units (the classification for non southern English DC EMUs - what would be 4xx down there). Is that because of a lack of appropriate northern English routes?
Not saying any of the below [bar the 506] are available for TSxx... Class 501 (Watford DC Lines & North London Lines), Class 502 (Merseyrail Northern Line), Class 503 (Merseyrail Wirral Lines), Class 504 (Bury - Manchester Line), Class 505 (Manchester - Altrincham Line), Class 506 (Woodhead - as stated), Class 507 (Merseyrail Northern Lines [Originally - Latterly, Northern & Wirral lines), Class 508 (As class 507 except [508's] originally allocated to the Wirral Lines, latterly as 507's. Some units transferred back to the Southern region). I have seen a 507 / 508 but no longer seems to be available... Eric
There is a reskin that makes a 507 and a 508 For a BR Blue 507 just remove the Pantograph Coach from the AP 315 As you said inversnecky the lack of routes to run these units is one reason there is nothing available I have read there is a Merseyrail route that is WIP
I thought Waggonz years ago were working on Merseyrail. A class 501 would be extremely useful for the NLL backdated but being a freeware route it is unlikely we will see a class 501 released. If Caledonian Works built diesel and electric stock I imagine it would be the sort of thing they would make.
That's what I thought... Would make sense as Waggonz appears to be a Merseyside based "company" but all seemed to stall on the project...
Yes quite a lot of projects go quiet, sadly, I suppose circumstances change. I recall Digital Traction announced a 1930's setting of the Penzance to Plymouth line a few years ago, around the time of the release of Riviera in the 50's and sadly that never appeared and I have seen nothing else mentioned about it. I am sure there are others.
I had a Southern Region 508 by taking the Pantograph coach out and sticking an extra trailer coach in
When you have the train on the track in Scenario Editor Double click on the lead coach and a flyout appears The box shows 315807644731000 showing the set and vehicles numbers Change 315807 to something else It only changes this vehicle so it you want to do the other end you do it separately But you still have a Pantograph coach So delete it and replace with a TSO This version will think it is on OHLE even though it will be on Third Rail and it has no Third Rail Shoe Beams You could use two 313 Power Cars and one or two 315 trailers The Flyout for changing number applies to most stock Peter
