I skip this contest now when they have changed the time you have your winningpicture only 1 week on loading screen If they had not put news about new routes on loading screen then the loading time would not be a problem. I hope they change it back as it was before with only winning pictures on the loading screen.
A Sittingbourne bound train crosses the Kingsferry Bridge Route: Sheerness Branch Extension Train: Class 466
Two trains meet under the well known bridge at Teignmouth Route: The Riviera Line Locomotives: Class 50, 43
As the theme is UK, it has to be in the rain! A Class 450 leaves Waterloo passing the Houses of Parliament on the Portsmouth Direct Line: Waterloo - Portsmouth.
That's annoying - I was going to the exact same thing (but with a steam railtour). In the spirit of things I'll think of something else.
I'll have another go as I like this route and what I know nobody have ever won the contest from this route(I think)? It is a foggy spring morning in the Scottish highland and a passenger train between Helensburgh and Crianlarish passing a maintenance house/shed(I guess). Route: West Highland Line South Loco: WHL Class 37
I am starting to feel the same, with the new -fastload update you are lucky if you see more than 2 winning screenshots & have noticed that only the last 2 winners are included in the rollover display when there used to be 4. Reckon this might be my last week also.

Maybe I'll have better luck with this shot than last time! A Class 158 Scotrail DMU on the Fife Circle Line. Love the way it looks so tiny within the mighty frames of the Forth Bridge.
Route: South Western Expressways (The one from steam) Loco: First Great Western Class 43 HST A FGW HST passes over a level crossing near Weston - Super - Mare with a service to Exeter St Davids
Seems like Forth Bridge is the go to this week, I have gone further south to the Tamar Bridge which links Devon & Cornwall with a FGW Class 43 HST. Route :- Cornish Main Line: Plymouth – Penzance Loco :- Class 43 HST
ROUTE: WCML South: London Euston to Birmingham LOCO: Class 66 V2.0 Freightliner Class 390 Pendolino seen going towards Birmingham New Street.on the slow lines.
I ran TS on my slow laptop for the first time in ages yesterday, and noticed only three screenshots are shown now - it used to be four.
Yes. I'm used to seeing just one or two pictures as I'm usually playing old content. There is an effort / reward in participating these threads. I'm actually considering to stop publishing my weekly selections as well, apparently nobody likes them. I stopped participating here for the same reason. I like about half of the posts, and yet DTG keeps selecting weaker ones about half the time. I keep taking and sorting them for myself.
I noticed in the Screenshot Comp terms and conditions that you have to be a resident of the UK or Germany to win? If that's the case, that narrows it down quite a bit? Or is it open Globally?
Last week there were only two on a rollover, the American Close Up & the Sunsrise from the previous week.
