PC Game Starts Flickering After A Few Minutes Of Starting A Service On All Routes

I play on Asus TUF A15 FA506IV-HN294T (Ryzen 9 4900H, RTX 2060, 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM) plugged in to an external monitor via HDMI (Acer Nitro VG0 240Y S @165Hz). I get screen flickering in TSW2 but not in any other game (Battlefield 5, Valorant, Apex Legends, and GTA V). I play on mostly Medium to Low settings with View Distance at Ultra and Screen Resolution at 200%. I didn't get any flickering on laptop's display. As soon as i close the game the flickering stops.

Monitor is HDR capable and I've turned it on in the monitor and windows.

 

I had this in TS2021 too when I had bought a new gaming machine. Thought it was a graphics card fault but it turned out to be power saving settings in windows making the game and graphics go odd.

make sure monitor refresh is right, and my fix was just to turn all power savings setting to off. ( ‘turn off monitor after...... minutes’ type stuff )

Fixed it.
The game don't seem to play ball with the AMD Free-sync. I turned it off in my monitor settings and flickering was gone for good.
