The people who build the routes, don't do bug fixes, they are separate teams, so you would be stopping work on one team, that may not be trained to do main bulk work for the other.

I think he meant to basically prioritize releasing bug fixes before releasing dlc´s

That's why they have the Preservation Crew.

The preservation crew fixes things but they don´t decide when things get released hence why some routes that are fixed haven´t recieved updates like lirr

It could also introduce completely new bugs once the updates roll out;)
Hopefully nothing game breaking gets overlooked!

While that's true, apparently the same QA team do all the testing, and that's where the bottleneck is.

As for priority... well, something tells me that "stuff we get money for" cuts in line ahead of "stuff we give away."

This could also be a problem. By holding back the fixes and then releasing DLC then release the fixes can cause more problems where we suffer. If they release the fixes first then bugs and errors should show up in the testing otherwise it will be us doing the testing.

I certainly didn´t spend $30 to be a beta tester but sometimes I feel like a tester

If it stayed at just £25/$30 that would be something. But like mugs we buy the DLC and because the base game and existing DLC hasn't been fixed we still have to go on testing it for them.

Is there going to be a patch on Tuesday, and if so what will be in it?

Luckily I've only bought two dlcs for tsw2 and so my wallet is happy not having to test for bugs so often :)

There should actually be an update today or tomorrow to prepare the game for the DB BR 101 and its achivements.

This was already done as there was a mod from trainsim.cz where he tried to substitute the 101-Journeys with the ICE 3. I hope the MSB fixes will be out today or at least before Hamburg-Lübeck is released.

No trophy info has updated on PlayStation for the 101 releasing on Thursday. Either they aren’t showing/updated yet or there is another patch incoming.

Which shows no correlation between the roadmap and patch notes. I haven't seen hrr updates on the roadmap and yet the patch notes are for hrr. Didn't dtg want to improve the roadmap to show what is being worked on and ready for release. Instead it just makes things more confusing than they already are.

The HRR update is limited to localisation fixes. Nothing bug related I don’t think.

I post and report texture Glitches since the TSW 2 Release in the 422 and 425 Cockpit but it’s Never fixed or the Extreme shining in the 425.

Those texture glitches on the 422 are quite annoying. The passenger lights wouldn't fully brighten the train leaving some parts of it looking quite dark

Really? "the other DTG members are too lazy or don’t care." You may not have an issue with that phrasing, but those of us raised to have a modicum of good manners do.

And you can think of no conceivable reason why your complaint about an unsatisfactory dashboard texture might not have been attended to yet, other than sloth or faineance, is that it?

Moreover, setting aside the fact that truthful and tactful do not necessarily - or often - coincide, the lawyer in me would have a field day with the proposition that speculative assessments of the moral fibre of people one has never met constitute "the truth."

I don't say you are wrong, but please try to write it in a way in which you don't just casually insult everyone working at DTG?

And if they are already aware of these issues, why tag Adam again? Do you think he will just drop everything he is working on to get that fix in just for you?
By now we kinda know that Adam's team is doing alot of bug fixes as soon as they get to a route and as you know, so far they have not touched on any of the routes with the texture issue.
I agree with you that it takes too long for these bugs to get fixed - but do you really expect them to listen to you after you call them lazy?

They would have to fix the texture issues regardless if they are being called lazy or not especially since it has been reported by many players. It's not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

Why is it when dtg tries to fix something, it breaks something else. They really can't sort out that issue

You were quite right to call that post out. There's far too much of that kind of tone on the forum. It's perfectly possible to criticize without being mean spirited.

You can lay most of the blame at DTG's door for that. It was DTG that said if people do not rant and shout about an issue it will be ignored or it won't carry as much importance.

So you approve of name calling? And it's DTG's fault? I guess I was just raised differently. Sign of the times, I guess. It's always the other guy's fault.

Name calling? He suggested that DTG were being 'lazy' that is hardly crime of the century eh? Have no idea how you were raised but I was raised to give respect to people that earn it. No idea what you mean by the other guy's fault but I would suggest if you get offended by someone calling a company 'Lazy' then perhaps the internet isn't the best place for you?
