Morning all... I'd like to get the large logo "shed"... Looking at its requirements being the Cl66 v2 (which I have) & the Cl66 AP sound pack (don't have), I was wondering if the sound pack is strictly necessary??? I can live with the non AP sounds for now till I can pick up the sound pack in the next sale... Cheers Eric
There are a lot of reskins for the 66, so not sure which one you are referring to. There's a Workshop reskin pack that I doubt requires the AP sound pack though. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2388834950
It says you need the AP 66 enhancement pack, not the sound pack, so I can only assume it won't work unless you have that.
Just installed it, and I don't rate it much. The bogies and underframe are way too dark... you can hardly see them, even in direct sunlight. I thought at first my TS settings had changed, but then I loaded up a "standard" AP 66 livery and it's fine.... I think they've tried to make it look "new" by painting it black, but it just looks way too dark IMO.
I have 66789 installed and I did not think it was all that bad but then I don't have any reshaders or the like Peter
It looks the same here when I run the 32bit version, which doesn't use ReShade. The rest of it looks great... just the dark bogies etc. Just doesn't play nice with how I have things set then I suppose. Oh well... not changing stuff for one reskin.
Yes Eric, I don't think another one has been done Not sure why the bogies on Pookys are darker than mine? But then his seems to be a dull or overcast day where mine was Summer and sunshine Peter
Summer, 2pm. The loco is in direct sunlight/ Probably how I've got things set here, but as everything else looks awesome, I'm not changing anything for the sake of one loco. It's the only one that looks like this, and every other 66 livery looks just fine.. in fact, every other train in the game looks fine. (shrug).
